We should go beat Krazy E-Man up! He is a big tease! Wait a second, here he is! Hulk Hogan Award (Best Use Of Limited Wrestling Talent)Winner: Santino Marella Points: 55 (8 first place votes) Santino overcomes last years winner John Cena in a close race to take home the prestigious Hulk Hogan Award. Santino picked up where he left off last year with his romance with Maria, which fell apart when the young lass posed naked for Playboy. A pre-WrestleMania hookup with Beth Phoenix ended up leading to a mid summer romance with the Glamazon. Santino almost lost his job in 2007 after a disastrous run as a babyface underdog. However he took all the heat he got and turned it into a positive thing while letting his natural sense of humor come to the surface. Can Santino take this and have an even better 2009? As the saying goes only time will tell. First Runner Up: John Cena Points: 51 (7 first place votes) The invincible former WWE Champion found his kryptonite towards the end of last year. The man who it seemed never got hurt, finally did as Cena was down almost half of the year due to various injuries. In the meantime Cena retained his fan base, as well as the section of the WWE Universe who hate him with a passion. Say what you want but Cena demands a reaction. Second Runner Up: The Great Khali Points: 45 (6 first place votes) Last year Khali was pushed as a monster heel and was involved in world title matches at 6 different pay per views. This led to a tie with Batista in this catagory. This year he has been “pushed” in front of the camera and has made out with a myriad of different women, some of which led to our jealousy. Third Runner Up: Batista Points: 30 (3 first place votes) Basketballs do not hold grudges. I mean, come on, they are inanimate objects. But apparently many WrestleCrap Forum Members do. Batista had a hit and miss year that mostly seemed like he had no direction. He had a lot of matches with a lot of different people however it’s his promos that Forum members will always remember. Others receiving votes: Kevin Nash, Vladmir Kozlov, Necro Butcher, Mark Henry, Randy Orton, Hornswoggle, Scott Steiner and Mike Adamle Previous Winners: 2007: Winner: John Cena 1st Runner Up: Santino Marella 2nd Runner Up: Batista and The Great Khali (tie)

It's funny since the Best & Worst MOTY is the easiest to write. Excuse me as I go do that.

The Jackie Gayda Award (Worst Match Of The Year)Winner: 16-Diva Tag Team Match, Raw’s 800th Episode Celebration Points: 31 (6 first place votes) Beth Phoenix, Layla, Katie Lea, Jillian, Maryse, Natalya, Victoria and Lena teamed up to take on Mae Young, Michelle McCool, Mickie James, Kelly Kelly, Candice Michelle, Eve, Brie Bella and Tiffany on November 3rd. In theory it couldn’t be that bad. And then Mae Young got the hot tag. The heels flew across the ring as Mae held onto the top rope and delivered brutal punches. At one point Mae almost fell on her butt. Mae almost broke her hip when she was rolled up by Beth Phoenix for the victory. According to WWE.com, this was the biggest Diva competition in WWE history. Let’s hope that it doesn’t happen again First Runner Up: Braden Walker vs Armadno Estrada: ECW 7/8 Points: 30 (4 first place votes) His name is Braden Walker and he’s gonna knock your brains out. His opponent’s name is Arrrrrmando Alejandrrrrrrrrro Estrrrrrrrrrrrada! And they came one point short of winning WrestleCrap’s dubious Jackie Gayda Award. This was the match that gave Braden one strike (as a part of WWE’s two strike policy). Chris Harris put on roughly 30 pounds from his last TNA appearance and seemed to leave all his talent in Orlando. Second Runner Up: Barack Obama vs Hillary Clinton Points: 24 (3 first place votes) Do you smell what Barack is cookin? On the same night as the prestigous King Of The Ring, and the same night that the real Obama and Hillary appeared on Raw, two lookalikes took center stage and engaged in a battle not seen since the days of last years winner, Donald Trump vs Rosie O’Donnell. This one thankfully ended when Umaga ran in and beat them both up. Third Runner Up: Triple H vs Vladmir Kozlov vs Edge Points: 15 (2 first place votes) How can a match that features both Triple H and Edge gain so many votes for worst of the year? It’s simple. You add Kozlov to the match and don’t have Edge in it for the vast majority of it. Jeff Hardy was attacked in a hotel room in the morning and thus couldn’t wrestle in the WWE Title Match. After 12 minutes of the most boring one on one match in Survivor Series history, Edge was introduced as the third man and somehow won the belt despite interference by Jeff Hardy. Others receiving votes: Colin Delaney vs Armando Estrada, Cousin Sal vs Santino Marella, Kevin Nash vs Samoa Joe, Kane vs Chavo Guerrero (WrestleMania 24), Triple H vs Great Khali (SummerSlam), Bunny Mania and A.J. Styles vs Frank Trigg. Previous Winners: 2007: Winner: “Donald Trump” vs “Rosie O’Donnell” 1/8 1st Runner Up: Chris Harris vs James Storm (Blindfold Steel Cage Match) 4/22 2nd Runner Up: Melina vs Ashley 4/1 3rd Runner Up: Batista vs The Great Khali (Punjabi Prison Match) 10/7

The Shawn Michaels Award (Match Of The Year)Winner: Shawn Michaels vs Ric Flair: WrestleMania 24 Points: 138 (25 first place votes) Shawn Michaels wins his second straight Shawn Michaels Award. A feat that no one else can claim. Ric Flair has won either 16, 19 or 20 World Titles. A feat that no one else can claim. In Flair’s final match of his career, Michaels delivered Sweet Chin Music and put the dog out to pasture. “I’m sorry. I love you.” was the line most remembered from this match, but for just over 20 minutes these two put on a match worthy of being Flair’s final match. This match led to the emotional farewell the next night on Raw, that will probably be remembered as long as there is a WWE. First Runner Up: Edge vs The Undertaker: SummerSlam Points: 44 (4 first place votes) Somehow, someway, this match finished “only” 94 points behind first. These two wrestled many times throughout the year, but this was the climactic Hell In A Cell Match which Main Evented the Biggest Party Of The Summer. Some people would say this match was better then the Flair-Michaels match (at least 4 anyway), and in some ways it was. Undertaker eventually won and then sent Edge through a burning hole in the mat. Second Runner Up: Nigel McGuinness vs Bryan Danielson: ROH 6th Anniversary Points: 22 Last year their match at Driven finished as the First Runner Up. This year they battled for the ROH World Title and slipped one spot. McGuinness was still trying to earn the respect of the ROH fans against one of the longest reigning champions in Ring Of Honor history. McGuinness went on the retain the belt after using Danielson’s own flurry of elbows to the head. Third Runner Up: Edge vs The Undertaker: WrestleMania 24 Points: 17 (1 first place vote) While it seems that Edge dominated this feud, Undertaker won the two most important, which includes the Main Event of WrestleMania 24. This was a match that included the infamous Charles Robinson 50-yard dash to the ring and Undertaker chokeslamming one of the Edge Geeks on top of the other. At the end Taker applied the Gogoplata/Devil’s Triangle/Hell’s Gate and got the tap out. Others receiving votes: 2008 Royal Rumble Match, Chris Jericho vs Shawn Michaels (Unforgiven), Samoa Joe vs Kurt Angle (Lockdown) and Roderick Strong vs Erick Stevens (FIP Redifined) Previous Results: 2007: Winner: Shawn Michaels vs John Cena 4/23 1st Runner Up: Bryan Danielson vs Nigel McGuinness (ROH Driven) 2nd Runner Up: Undertaker vs Batista (WrestleMania 23) 3rd Runner Up: Murder City Machine Guns vs Briscoe Brothers (ROH Good Times, Great Memories)

No. It covers all of wrestling. If people vote exclusively for WWE stuff, that's not my fault.
