This guy is awesome. Why has WWE not signed him to a developmental deal yet? He seems to have all the right tools to make it pretty far in the "sports entertainment" business.

He's tall, but he isn't buff, which hurts him some, possibly. That being said, I dunno. Maybe he's like Bryan Danielson, and has turned down that sort of thing before. Maybe he just hasn't been suggested as of yet.
I guess if he's been looked at, it's been behind closed doors. They've looked at Morishima before, so I doubt it's an obscurity issue.
Before it's even suggested, I seriously doubt it's a "WWE Style" problem, as it's not exactly like he's a spotmonkey that has no ground game. Not a whole lot he does is beyond what he could do in WWE, likely.

Hero definetly has all the in-ring qualifications to be a WWE guy. He's skilled, but he works VERY safe by comparison to some of his indy contemporaries, and, if by some random chance he EVER got some new gear together, he'd have a pretty great look, lack of buffness aside. I think his current look is the biggest thing holding him back.

Does he still have the hobo beard?
Here's a jolly idea.
Replace Mike Knox with Chris Hero. =D

Chris is awesome when he wants to be (Which is 99.999% of the time all of the time).
Honestly I don't see why he shouldn't go to the WWE. His bod'y similar to Edge and he agile as a crazy cat. He can work multiple styles and he interacts with the crowd better than most wrestlers in the WWE. I don't need to get to deep into this.
His credentials are unlimited

Edge is a little more defined than Hero, but I was thinking he was more along the lines of Christian Cage.

If Hero went to WWE I wonder if he and Punk could have an even longer match....

I have heard it said Bryan Danielson intends to go to WWE sometime after he accomplishes what he wants to in the indies, whether that's true or not. Maybe Chris Hero has declined for such a reason. Maybe he doesn't want to, yet.
Also possible is him wanting to be a big fish in a small pond.

What I want to know is why they released Claudio Castagnoli. Dude's big, muscled, can work any style from brawler to power to technical to evenn lucha libre superbly. He's nto great on the mic but has a certain charisma about him. Why on earth was he released? And before anyone says Visa issues, it isn't. Castagnoli's confirmed its not Visa issues himself as if it were he couldnt work the indies either.

I've seen him wear just about every kind of tights imaginable, and while his "loose pants" and CH shirt look the best, its probably not a look WWE is into.

Yeah, Chris' look just may not be considered "WWE style", but he'd do fantastically up there doing the same thing he does on the indies; playing a smartass, obnoxious as hell heel who the crowd loves to hate.

Pro Wrestling Illustrated did some write up on the top wrestlers in WWE, TNA and ROH a few months ago, and that was the biggest knock against Chris Hero. and it was the stupidest thing to because since he "wrestles in a baggy Superman t-shirt" no one takes him seriously and he'll go nowhere in wrestling because he looks like "just another indy wrestler". so just to claify... ...this is crappy go-nowhere indy wrestling, and... ...this is big league take-me-serious wrestling

I love the guy, face or heel the guy is awesome.
I'd love to see him and Claudio in WWE, they are just too money to be stuck in the indies

He's good but not WWE bound unless he bulks up or gets some new gear

My feelings on his physique are thus: Did Roddy Piper need a six-pack to work as a Heel? Did Jerry Lawler? Jake Roberts? Honky Tonk Man? Ric Flair?

However, those were different times and things have changed for the most part in WWE. Of course there are exceptions like Umaga and Manu, but that's pretty much it. He's certainly tall enough.
