"We gave him money for a taxi, because that's the kind of guys we are". Made the whole Rhino angle worth it for me.

AJ Styles vs. Kurt Angle on IMPACT this thursday. with Mick Foley the special referee. Remember that interview he gave where he said you could only be the special guest referee so many times? I think this is now his third time in 3 months.

I think this is now his third time in 3 months. Technically, he was an enforcer for the other 2. But he did make the counts both times. However, AJ over Kurt will be the big win for the Frontline people will be hoping for. Of course, there will be heatz if AJ loses.

Kurt should win. MEM needs to lose on pay per view. I know Mick, AJ and Devon won tonight, but that was after 8 straight ppv victories by the MEM. If you remember Lex Luger over the Giant at Starrcade 96 was WCW's first win over the nWo.

And I am sure if this was 1996 we'd be all complaining about how WCW is ruining Sting by not having him wrestle and not pick a side, etc... Is it just me or does the internet make people more bitter?

By the way, unless I am mistaken, I don't believe TNA offers their pay per views in HD. I wonder if there is any reason why.

Man TNA got hammered last night. Kong, Hemme and, Nash all out due to injury and running a similar angle with Rhino. Combine that with a crowd that really didn't seem to give a damn and that was just bad. I doubt Charlotte gets anything from TNA for awhile after that.
Angle/Jarrett was damn good and that bell shot was sick. I am guessing the third match happens at Lockdown can't wait to see it.
Shelley/Sabin was a great match but, the ending (while not a surprise) seemed really rushed. I know they went about 20 minutes but, like I said, it just seemed out of nowhere.
The main event seemed really rushed as well and the countout part and the restart was just stupid. Impact main event or mid-card PPV match sure but, PPV main event no.

The crowd was hot for most of the night. They were pretty much into every match. Didn't seem it to me. They were. They don't need to be chanting some B.S or hopping up in down to be into a match. They were into Hernandez. They were patient with the slow start to the Sabin/Shelley match, clapping for technical wrestling which would typically draw "boring" chants elsewhere and they got louder when the match sped up. They were pretty good for the Sewell/Bashir and the 3 way tag. They were definetley dead for the knockouts. They started to annoy me when the main events came, thats when it was clear most of the people there had no clue about the storylines and didnt care. Jeff Jarrett got crapped on there, yet he was over in Chicago. Sting could have said the Panthers sucked and they would have agreed. They didnt seem to give a damn about Foley. They were respectful to the mid card and were pretty receptive but it was old school WCW territory in the final hour and it showed most of the people showed up because of free tickets and they saw Sting was on the bill. I bet we had a lot of butthurt customers after that world title match.

AJ STYLES: Phenomenal

AJ STYLES: Phenomenal I got a pic that proves it on my home computer, but the seats on the camera side (the side in the pic) were 80% empty. Everywhere else was mostly to completely full though. I think they taped off most of it because of all the production equipment was over there. Also, I was stunned there was only one Figur 4 the entire night, and that was by Shane Sewell (who got a good reaction). Crowd was about 6,000. They were into most everything. I guess on TV it didn't seem god because they weren't "Impact Zone level crazy" but it was a fun crowd. TNA should come back as around 6,000 is one of their bigger crowds and that's with an okay lineup on paper.

I just absolutely love Tenay and West in that pic, as annoying as they are its all ways awesome to see them mark out for spots.

It seemed like the crowd was pretty good, but I wasn't sure. The MEM was over big time.

At least they popped for Sting. They didn't give a stuff about Rhino or Foley. Foley was horrible. I was very disappointed

The crowd was hot for most of the night. They were pretty much into every match. Didn't seem it to me. Musta just watched the main event and the world title match, both of which were very subpar. The crowd was VERY hot for the first few matches, as reported died a little during the Knockout match, got back INTO the Jarrett match, even tho they seemed to be more with Angle(some of you guys gotta realize, Jarrett has ALWAYS been a big heel in the south, it's odd to see him as a face). The last two matches stunk up the joint. Rhino was boring, AND it was a short match, Kute Kip pretty much got the collkective "wha huh?" reaction, and Foley was even worse than Rhino. It was a good effort tho, Shelley and Sabin were effing spot machines (I mean that as a compliment), Hernandez was dominant, Beer Money and Lethal Consequences had a good showing, and Jarrett really put himself through the ringer for a good match. Out of 10 I'd give it a 7.5.

Shelley vs. Sabin & Kurt vs. Jarrett made that PPV worth it to me. Both, especially the latter, were freaking awesome. I think they blew their BFG match out of the water big time.
