Didn't they already do this and have her on tv for the last month or so? Really? I haven't been watching lately. I caught her match against Kong a while back which I liked. I keep forgetting TNA's on to be honest. If Daffney's on, I'll be tuning in.

Didn't they already do this and have her on tv for the last month or so? Yes. What I would do is honestly just really minor things at this point. TNA is there, but not quite THERE if you get my drift. They have all the tools, everything is heading in the right direction, but there's just little things that can be done that can honestly take care of half of their problems. 1. They need to stop appearing so "low rent." I noticed several things that popped right out while watching their best of tonight: a) First of all, the friggin' green lazer beams at the entrance. I thought this was the number two wrestling promotion in America, not a nine year olds birthday party at Lazer Quest? b) Secondly, their camera angles are ATROCIOUS. For working with this as long as they have, especially in the arena that they're in you would think they could film the show better, but they don't. You can see all the little things that take the magic away from wrestling clear as day (like putting the focus on James Storm moving to be in position for a Homicide splash). c) Another thing is that even with the improvements they've done to the Impact Zone, the place just still looks so SPARSE. Like their entrance area takes up WAY to much room, and doesn't lend to the Impact Zone EVER looking "packed." If the moved the barriers in closer in that area it would help immeasurably (and also allow for more seating in the place). 2. Allow wrestlers to build up heat and momentum and GO WITH IT. Don't be too afraid to pull the trigger on someone. This has been one of TNA's biggest flaws, ruining the momentum of many of their talents because they become to locked into the storyline, and don't allow stuff to happen organically. 3. Refuse to accept their current ratings and popularity level as "good enough." Yeah, your product is pulling in the same fans week after week...and that's it. That means that no matter what you do, you will NOT lose those fans. That means you can experiment and THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX to do WHATEVER IT TAKES to draw in new fans. Everything else is honestly just nit picking because storyline wise they seem to be going in a good direction, and they have an awesome level of talent that anybody would KILL to have. They just need to work on presenting the talent, and other odds and ends and they should honestly have a great 2009. Also, regarding the Knockouts. I think they honestly should bring in Cheerleader Melissa while keeping Raisha Saeed. It wouldn't be that hard to do, and it would give the Knockouts another character that can play every side of the aisle.

Replacing main eventers with indy guys and WWE low carders makes TNA look low-rent by comparison. Seriously. To be fair, they look low-rent by comparison even with those main eventers.

Curry Man & more stars from Japan! If only they could pry away Naruki Doi and Masato Yoshino from Dragon Gate. Those guys were the best part of last year's World X Cup.

Something different. I've lost my taste for the show lately - I'm not sure what it is.
I'd honestly like to see them get back to more wrestling in general on the show. That would help.
Also, I could care less if they re-build the X-Division's 'credibility" or whatever, I just thought at some point the X-Division guys who'd been there a while would become more intergal to the show. Like Shelly has been as of late.
Lethal, Dutt, Sabin, Williams, Rave, - These guys feel like they're just 'there" and to a point they really built what TNA was in my mind. A lot of them are part of the Frontline, which wasn't too bad when they were backing up Joe & Styles. But now they're all playing 2nd and 3rd fiddle to Team 3D & Rhyno and I'm asking myself - "How is this different than before when they were playing 2nd and 3rd fiddle to ex-WWF guys?"
Its like watching SNL and being really into the "featured players" instead of the main cast.
But it is a business and I understand the need to draw big numbers and that the average Joe doesn't really want to see a lot of wrestling on a wrestling show, but more storyline and comedy.
I guess.

screw Gabe he sucks, gang wars sucked, him bringing in japanese guys sucked, his booking sucked I disagree with you. Gabe is an amazing booker and ROH was hot from 03-07. He just burned out. I also disagree with you that Schiavone is better than Mike Tenay. I think West brings Tenay down. I also disagree with you that Samoa Joe is "fat". WHat ellseee...

Another kick-ass World X-Cup, incorporated with a story-line.
Like the InVasion, only with more sense and a much better send-off.

There are many things TNA's finally been doing better of late, but still plenty that needs to happen.
-Continue with serious builds for your top feuds. Joe/Angle at Lockdown, Joe/Booker, and now MEM/Frontline have done pretty well as headliner feuds due to the storylines getting some seriousness and drama. People will pay to see matches where they're emotionally invested in the outcome. TNA's been better about this lately, and I hope they continue.
-Fix the damn cameras. Their editing is terrible.
-A heel commentator!
-I'm with TLR on this; I want to see TNA not be afraid to fully committing to pushing a guy. AJ, Joe, Hernandez, Daniels, Homicide, the Guns, there are a lot of guys and teams in that company that can be pushed to elite status, but TNA seems to always want some level of "parity" in their booking. Problem is, while this is good sometimes and allows more midcard guys to keep their heat, it doesn't allow as many guys to hit the big time and make it as main eventers.
-Finally, to go hand-in-hand with that last point: I'd like to see a full commitments towards moving in the direction of the youth of the company. No, I'm not saying get rid of Angle, Nash, et. al., since I think they serve a fine purpose. But it's time to start allowing new faces to break out fully and run with the ball, really give TNA it's identity as a company. Joe and AJ have been pushed strongly in 2008, but their pushes, at times, and especially in Joe's case, ended up doing more harm than good. They MUST fix this. Give the ball to the young guys. Let Joe, AJ, Daniels, and LAX become not just upper card and main event players, REALLY let them run with the ball, let them be your company's identity. Keep on the older guys, have them there to sell tickets and lend their expertise, but it could really help them to shake the "WWE-lite" label if, when people think of TNA, their very first thoughts are AJ, Joe, et. al., and not Angle, Booker, 3D, et. al.

In a word: Consistency. TNA has done some AWESOME things in the past few years of it's existence, but it seems like, for every awesome thing, there's 5 other things that are unwatcheable to balance it out, or the awesome stuff is killed dead in it's tracks. Once they get consistent about wanting to put on good programming, I'll be on board.

I was about to say more cowbells, but that would be senseless.
I'd say them trimming the fat when it comes to their roster.
And the less involvement of a referee in a fued/storyline the better.
I would also like to see the MEM/Frontline thing end early this year, and not drag on until the next decade.

For them to stop sucking. Ok, ok, that was mean. But I just couldn't let the whole thread go without slipping that in somewhere. Sue me.

Creating more memorable moments. I mean everybody craps on the WWE, but in the last year we've seen some memorable moments which fans will remember for a while. Such as HBK retiring Flair, Jericho winning the world title, Punk winning the world title, Cena returning and winning the Royal Rumble.
The only one I can think of for TNA is Samoa Joe finally winning the belt, and even then the fans complained because it took them too damn long to do so.
