Did I just see Shane Sewell bloodied and battered on this TNA year in reveiw package? When did that happen?

Final Resolution. Shane got involved in the finish to the Bashir/young title match, Sheik flipped and beat up Sewell.

Where's Shane? Where's Shane? PEEK-A-BOO..... In all seriousness... never heard of him. He's the ref who Daivari has been having problems with, and is a former wrestler who is famous in Puerto Rico, but fairly unknown here.

Ah OK... yeah I know that guy. I thought that whole angle was so dumb. I hope they just drop it.

I'm hoping this leads to Sewell just being a wrestler on the roster here. It seems to be the logical conclusion to this Bashir angle.
<obligatory comment about TNA booking, Russo, and an insane bloody towel on a pole match>

I'm sure I read in an Impact spoiler thread that they (kayfabe) sacked Sewell the ref and then immediately rehired him as an active wrestler. Pretty sure that it was Cornette who did the hiring and firing.

Anybody remember Danny Davis? I hope Sewell has black and white pin striped tights. Hope is finisher is called "Right Down The Middle." And instead of a ten punch, he only goes to three. I hope he gives himself five seconds to break a choke. I hope when he takes a clothesline, he's down for seven minutes.....Ok I'm done....

It's Ron Garvin backwards. Shane seems like a good enough worker, and I don't think it's a bad storyline, but in the end I don't see getting over.

I sort of hate Shane Sewell because I've wanted to become a ref and do this character myself for like 5 years >.>

This gimmick will be a great addition to the minor match before main event role on Impact

Remember when laying your hands on an official meant risking suspension or a heavy fine? Now they can get brutalized, and when one dares to defend himself he's put on notice. Shouldn't Bashir be in trouble, if not for assaulting a referee then for being a wrestler who got shown up by one?

Shouldn't Bashir be in trouble, if not for assaulting a referee then for being a wrestler who got shown up by one? He has diplomatic immunity!
