I know it's early so I'm not going to ask for prods from the GM but everyone really needs to step it up and participate. When people don't contribute it helps the mafia and hurts the town. Consider this a request on behalf of the town. Or could it be a request of a mafia/government member trying to get people to talk more in hopes of getting them to slip up?

Certainly, but this early in the game I'm definitely trusting people who do more talking than those who lurk, for now at least. Being quiet helps the town in no way what so ever.

EBWOP I have MORE trust for people who talk than those who are quiet, is what I was trying to get across. I don't trust you completely just because you talk.

In the last few games I've played, the inactive players hindered the town. They were either townies falsely lynched because they didn't defend themselves or they allowed the mafia to pick off the good townies because the non-posting townies were not a threat to them.

Sorry for being gone, should of announced this or at least told the game mod. Right now is hunting season and on my days off I'm hunting. Just got home though. Let me catch up on the game. However, I see this questionnaire.. You hunt? . Half tempted to vote for you based on that but that wouldn't exactly be a fair reason. Bundy makes an interesting point about jagilki but I think it's entirely possible that that was an innocent mistake. I'm most suspicious of ritt at the moment. Especially his questionnaire answers, he almost seems desperate to prove he's innocent, such as saying he's "Only ever played town". Still not ready to make a vote but I did find that odd. Speaking of the questionnaire: Have you had any previous Mafia Game experience? The last 2 forum games, and vaguely I recall playing a Mafia game somewhere a long while back. Can't quite get how it'd work IRL though, maybe a strange form of Manhunt. Would you say you have a good understanding of the game? Not exactly. I understand how it works but I'm still learning every time in terms of investigating. Had too many misdirected lynches for my liking in the past. Do you have a favorite role? Not played enough different roles yet to say. I quite like being a Mason though, knowing that you've got a buddy to back you up against either the mafia or lynches.

Okay, I agree with Al Bundy that the most suspicious thing said so far is Jagliki's pretty contrary answers to those questions. However, I don't know if those answers are quite mafia level suspicious so for now I'm going to hold off on my vote, but Jag has moved to the top of my first vote list.

Sorry bout the delay guys. Work and all that rot. Let's answer the questionnaire, shall I? Have you had any previous Mafia Game experience? My answer: Yes, played once IRL and twice online and modded one game (the previous WrestleCrap Mafia Game). Would you say you have a good understanding of the game?My Answer: I'd like to think I'm fairly good but not an expert. There are some nuances that I need to learn when playing the game (reading/picking up scum tells when town and bluffing/railroading townies when mafia). Do you have a favorite role?My answer: Not really, but I do enjoy the advantages "power" roles have. They give you the option to be a little more creative with your gameplay. Now with that outta the way FoS: jagilki for the following: Sorry for being gone, should of announced this or at least told the game mod. Right now is hunting season and on my days off I'm hunting. Just got home though. Let me catch up on the game. However, I see this questionnaire.. Have you had any previous Mafia Game experience? I've been playing now.... for about two years? Maybe three..... Modded a number of games.... Would you say you have a good understanding of the game? I feel I have a passing understanding.Do you have a favorite role? So far I've played most of them. I'm fond of being a double voter or a bus driver as far as "power" roles go. In the first highlighted part of the text (green text), jag tells us that he's been playing the game for about two years and has modded several games; in the second highlighted part of the text (red text) he claims to only have a passing understanding of the game mechanics? This does not compute. I think he may be trying to downplay his cleverness to the noobs. Only reason anyone would really want to do that is if they're mafia IMO. Something to think about. Have you ever heard of "humility"?

EBWOP.
If I wasn't being humble, I could point out that for the games I've played on EFK (the only one that keeps stats) I'm in second place on the league table Games, win and survive, win, MVP, Loss, No Show, Total points Cpt. Josh 10 4 4 1 2 15 Jag 6 2 2 3 2 15
So, that's Six games (on EFK) 2 just wining, 2 wining AND surviving, 2 losing for a total of 15 points...
(And I feel I should point out "cpt. Jos" is "dom" who played a game here as well.)

It definitely hindered the town in Wrestlecrap Mafia. I'd say speak up, even on the first day. Right now, nothing can really hurt since this is the first day and we're getting settled in. We don't know who The Captiol is, nor can we be too sure about rebels. As long as we're discussing, we can show that at the very least we're committed to this game, which helps more than one might think.

So, it seems like some people are formulating ideas on stuff that's already been said. I'm getting kind of leary of the folks who haven't posted since we got underway as well, not only for town sake, but they might get forgotten by most players, that way they won't get lynched.

I only mentioned that I'd only ever played regular townie because I was assuming we were only talking about previous games of which I only have one under my hat, where I was only a townie. Even as a townie I found ways to really get into the game. I think I would be scared to have a power role I would not want that much hanging over me. I have no idea how the mafia works, and even if I were mafia (which I am not, but then again we will all say that) I still wouldn't know how that works or really any of the nighttime power roles till we get through the first night.

That didn't come across as being humble, jagilki. It seemed like u were deliberately downplaying the fact that you are a very skilled mafia player.
The tone of your responses worry me also. It seems as though you might be upset that i outed you and are putting all your cards on the table because of it.
I could be making a mountain out of a molehill or i could've stumbled upon a rare mafioso mistake.

Al, I'm not jumping out there to defend jag because he's #1 on my scum list right now, but we consider the possibility that he could possibly be in that Jester role that was described at length in your game. Maybe he's feeling confident and it shooting his mouth off because he wins if he's lynched. I think Jag's played too much to make this easy of a mistake.

Not too sure about the source material but I kinda doubt there'd be a jester in this game. I don't think it would fit at all within the parameters of the story.

Just a thought.
