Subtitle: Last Week
Tenay: Ladies and Gentleman, welcom to WCTNA iMPACT.I'm Mike Tenay joined by Don West. West: Great to be here , Mike. Tenay: Are you okay? West: *holds up a pill bottle* As long as I'm taking these things I'm a ray of sunshine. Tenay: Well we just saw the shocking events of last week when Sting made his return to WCTNA to cost AJ Styles the World title. We are expected to hear from Sting now...
West: Well that ain't Sting. Tenay: No, that's The Blueprint Matt Morgan. What's he doing out here?
* Matt Morgan walks out to the ring. He is looking as cocky as ever, dripping swagger. *
It's a good day to be the best, I'll tell you that right now.
Before I do what I came out here to do, I want to make one thing clear. Whether you like it or not, it's irrelevant. The Blueprint is on top of the wrestling world. I am the future - no. I am the present. I am what everyone in this company strives to be, and it's only a matter of time before that WCTNA World Title is around the waist of Matt Morgan. Yes, I lost last week. I'll stand here and give Daniels' his props for that. He did in one night what his pal AJ hasnt been able to do over a long period of time. But even losing can't dampen my spirits. Not after what went down at the end of last weeks show.
And that's why I'm out here tonight. Three weeks ago at Turning Point, I defeated AJ Styles after the lights went out, and they came back on with me wielding a big black bat. The next night on iMPACT, AJ Styles had Brutus Magnus beat in a Tag Team match also involving yours truly, when a certain someones music hit. When the music quit playing, AJ turned around and ate the Carbon Footprint for the 1-2-3. Then finally last week, an undeserving AJ Styles weasels his way into the Main Event over a more deserving Blueprint, and the night ended with him on his back, victim of the same man that got him the last two weeks...
Matt Morgan.
No, it wasn't me that personally attacked AJ Styles, but if you don't think I had something to do with it, you're blind. If you don't know whats going on, you're blind. Not only am I the DNA of this company, not only am I the Crown Jewel of our industry, not only am I the greatest big man in the HISTORY of this business... but now I am larger than life due to the presence of an ICON by my side.
* A big grin breaks across the face of Matt Morgan *
The thing that separates the good from the great is consistency, longevity. A lot of people are flash in the pan successes, who vanish overnight. Hell, tt might even happen to me, as unlikely as it might sound. You never know. In our industry, you could be the toast of the town one night, and in the gutters the next. It takes a special individual to endure - to not only be the best, but remain the best. The old saying is that its hard to get to the top, but its even harder to stay there. And that's what makes it SO impressive for someone, anyone, to stay in this business for a long period of time - and ALWAYS be on top. A very, VERY select few can say they've done that, but the person I'm bringing out right now is one of them. Without any further adieu - the one, the only, the ICON - Sting!
* Sting comes walking out of the tunnel and down the ramp. He is wearing his finest suit, as well as a pair of sunglasses. He is not wearing facepaint. He smiles at Morgan and hugs him before being handed the mic. *
That was uh, that was quite the intro Matt. And I thank you for the kind words. But I'm out here for a reason, so I'll get to that without wasting everybody's time. That reason is to answer the questions that I'm sure people are wanting to know. Why Sting? Why did you do what you did to AJ? And why in the world are you out here with Matt Morgan of all people? Honestly, I don't think you folks will like the answer, but I'm tellin ya the truth here, so bear with me.
I imagine everyone already knew this, but for a while now, I've been in the dumps. I still came to every show hoping to help out, even though the requests for my presence had been fading and fading in past months. But it was after a show a about a month ago, that everything turned around. I was sitting in the back after losing to Daivari again, when Matt here, he walked into the room. I caught his eye and he walked over to me. He said Stinger, you haven't been relevant in a long time. Why are you still here? Why are you still here. The words echoed in my head for a while. I sat there for a minute and thought about it and said you know what? I don't know, Matt. I don't know why I'm here anymore.
The reason I came here to TNA in the first place was to make a difference. The reason I stayed here in TNA year after year was to make a difference. But for a while now, I haven't made any sort of difference whatsoever. It's not enough to just wrestle. You have to have something to wrestle for. And I wasn't wrestling for anything meaningful. Age, it had seemed, had finally caught up to the Stinger. I looked up at Matt and I told him that maybe its time the Stinger bowed out. I expected him to agree, and push the idea at me - after all he had just asked why I was still here. Instead, Matt did the opposite. I'm not gonna share what he said to me, but he made me realize that even though I may not be what I used to be, I still have a lot to offer. Matt made me realize that if we put the legacy of the Stinger alongside the sheer genetic talent of Matt Morgan, we get something - like Matt called it - larger than life. And opportunities like that just don't come along very often. That's something I just couldn't pass up.
And here I stand. More relevant than I've been in a while, ready to make more of a difference than I have in a while. And why is that? Because I'm standing next to the man that, with me in his corner, will REVOLUTIONIZE this industry. He's 7 feet tall, 330 lbs. He's athletic, he's charismatic, he's smart. He is what his catchphrase says. He is the blueprint of what a wrestler should be. He has it all. He has it all EXCEPT for experience, and recognition. But hey, that's what I'm for. And whether the TNA fans choose to like it or not, my main aspiration moving forward is to help get Matt Morgan's name up there with the Hogan's, the Flair's the Sting's. If you're one of the many that I'm sure wont like it, I'm sorry, but its whats best for this business, and its whats best for The Stinger.
But, with all that said, there's still one big question looming. Stinger, why attack AJ Styles? Why cost AJ Styles the World Heavyweight Title? Someone who's looked up to you, respected you, done everything the right way. Why would you screw him out of not only the world title, but several matches before that? The answers simple. He was a victim of circumstance. I'm going to use a line I heard Christopher Daniels - a friend of AJ Styles - use a few weeks back, because he's 100% right. It's amazing how Daniels' and I could be in such different situations, yet have such similar views on those situations. So much so that what he said two weeks ago explains why I did what I did FAR better than I could have ever done it myself. Maybe it'll resonate more clearly for AJ with it being from Chris.
Daniels said that sometimes terrible things have to be done. Inevitably, there are times in this business where you have to do things that you don't like, because it works toward the greater good. Chris was talking about getting the X Division Title off of Scott Steiner. But to me... Matt Morgan is that greater good. He is what will take this business to a level not yet seen before, and AJ was slowing the process down. And for the good of the business that I have put my life into, I couldn't allow that to continue. AJ, I respect you as a wrestler. I respect you even more as a person. I'm sorry that this all came at your expense. But AJ, business is business, and in this business, no one stands above The Blueprint, not even you AJ. Anyone, anyone at all that's in the way of Matt Morgan's quest to the top, his quest to revolutionize this business... anyone in his way has to be dealt with accordingly. And AJ, you were in the Blueprints way, so you had to be dealt with. I don't expect you to forgive me. I wouldn't forgive me If I were in your shoes. But I'm not looking for forgiveness, AJ. Because the fact remains. It was nothing personal. It was just me looking out for the greater good of this business.
Tenay: "The greater good of the business?" What's that supposed to mean. West: Well obviously Sting thinks that he's doing the right thing. Tenay: Well when we come back, Matt Morgan takes on Jesse Neal.

Morgan slams Jesse Neal. He then picks him up, checks his invisible watch and hits the Hellavator. 1-2-3.
Penzer: Here is your winner, Matt Morgan!
Sting enters the ring and raises Morgan' arm.
Tenay: Sting said he's doing what's right for business. West: Well looks like what's good for business is Matt Morgan as far as Sting is concerned. Tenay: I dunno what to make of this.
* The camera cuts to the back where AJ Styles is sitting in the back alone, his hood over his face. Christopher Daniels walks in. *
Hey, I've been looking for you. I heard what Sting said, and how he's with Morgan now...
* AJ doesn't respond, instead, he just sits there silently, the hood of his entrance jacket still covering his head. *
Look, I know what you're going through. Sting and I have a history. Remember Slammiversary 07? When I needed guidance, he gave it to me, only for it to all fall apart in the end. We ended up on opposite sides of the ring at one of the biggest PPVs of the year to settle it. Sting doing this is just Morgan working his magic and doing everything he can to try and gain an advantage over you. He knows that he screwed you out of what you worked your ass off to get, and is building a wall of defense as best he can by trying to tear you down before you can strike back. And Sting using my words to explain himself is just another way to try and throw you in a different direction so that you cant attack him and his games head on.
* AJ remains still, and says nothing. *
Alright, I just want to let you know that I have your back. No matter whats going thru your head right now, what my intentions are with Steiner, and what Morgan and Sting may say. I have your back.

* We cut to the back where Lauren is with The Beautiful People. She has already slipped in between their massive thrones, which has been a problem in recent weeks. *
Lauren: Girls, tonight is an important night for you as Madison Rayne represents you all in a match against Taylor Wilde. Now, the winner of that match--
Velvet: We know, Lauren! We know. The winner will win number one contendership for their team to take on the Gothic leatherface, and her crater faced and nearly as disturbed partner.
Angelina: As long as Madison is over her disgusting-phase! I mean, really Madison, you almost made me throw up last week with your comments.
Velvet: Well, she DID end up winning.
Angelina: Fair enough. But like, no more of that please. Just be normal, aka beautiful and already better than everyone.
* Madison nods *
Madison: And thats exactly what I plan on being tonight as I take on, and take out Stumpy.
Lauren: Stumpy?
Madison: Yea, Taylor is all short and.. square kinda.. Stumpy! You know... wasn't that one of the seven dwarfs?
Lauren: Actually... I--
Angelina: You get what shes saying though. Madison is going to mess up that already repulsive... revolting...
Velvet: Repugnant
Angelina: Ooo, that's a good one Velvet. Yea, repugnant! Madison is going to mess up her already repugnant face later on tonight, and win her and Velvet a shot at the TNA Knockouts Tag Titles.
Velvet: And what are you gonna do Angelina?
Angelina: Well, I'll be there with you of course. Where else would I be?
Madison: I think Velvet was trying to steer the conversation somewhere.
Angelina: OH! Right. Yea, I'll be in the back wondering where my Knockouts Title shot is! I mean lets be honest, I'm the only deserving candidate around here, and I already beat the bulbous waist...ed champion once. Waisted? Is that a word? Oh who cares. Anyway, I already beat her once!
Lauren: Technically, you didnt. You three beat her team, which she ditched for a reason.
Velvet: Because they were hideous, id assume.
Lauren: Well, thats not exactly--
Angelina: LAUREN! You're always talking over us, whats your deal?
Lauren: ...
Velvet: Look, seriously, tonight is going to be step one in The Beautiful People taking over TNA like we should have from the start. In just a short time, we're going to own this whole company. All the titles, everything.
Angelina: We really will. Really. Because...
Velvet: We're beautiful. We're spoiled. And we're perfect. We know it, and we love it!
Angelina: What we are, and who we are, is what you will never have, and NEVER be.
Velvet: We are cleansing the world one ugly person at a time.
Madison: And tonight, Stumpy gets put out of her icky existence and pushed out of the Tag Team Title hunt.

Cheerleader Melissa makes her way out onto the stage in a jacket and jeans, with the Women's Knockout Championship over her shoulder.
Penzer: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome, the WCTNA Women's Knockout Champion, Cheerleader Melissa!
Melissa enters the ring and walks over to Penzer who she has a discussion with. Penzer nods.
Penzer: Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce to you the WCTNA Women's Knockout Champion, Alissa Flash!
Alissa asks for the mic and she is duly handed it by Penzer.
Last week on iMPACT! you all saw what happened. You saw how Cheerleaders Josie and Trisha, otherwise known as Sojournor Bolt and Rhaka Khan attacked me when I spoke my mind. For a while now it had been apparent that Pep Squad USA wasn't working for a number of reasons. The personnel wasn't right, the image didn't suit, the total lack of respect for this business exhibited by those two... it all got to me. That's why last week I ended Pep Squad USA.
I'm sad to say that I am also partially responsible for the releases of those two women. All I can hope is that one day they take a long hard look at themselves and realise that I did what was best for them. Maybe then they'll work hard and become a world champion like I have.
Because you see, I was like them not so long ago. I had my head turned by the cheerleading crap. I had quickly forgotten, somehow, that growing up even this business was my life. Not many people know it, but I'm a second generation wrestler. My father Doug Anderson was a professional wrestler. I grew up watching my dad wrestling. I grew up around this business seeing what it was all about - and I grew up loving this business. I loved it so much I went on to join my high school wrestling team. Only three other girls in the school were on that team.
I made my professional wrestling debut at the age of 17. I worked my butt off for a decade and then nearly through away my ultimate opportunity at becoming a champion. Thankfully, I ridded myself of all distractions and won the title at Turning Point. Cheerleading nearly cost me my real dream. That's why I have to put Cheerleader Melissa to bed. That's why I will now go under the monicker of Alissa Flash.
I don't want to be remembered for being a cheerleader, I don't want to be remembered for being the sexiest, smartest and most powerful. I want to be remembered as the best there's ever been. And I don't want to come across as arrogant, but I can assure you all I will be a future legend and rule this Knockouts division for years to come.
Alissa hands the microphone back to Dave Penzer and walks over to the announce table, grabbing a headset between Don West and Mike Tenay.
West: Well hey, Melissa Tenay: That's Alissa. West: Like anyone was paying attention. Tenay: I apologise for my broadcast colleague. Flash: Don't worry about it Mike. As someone who watches the show back every week I hear all of Don's ignorant remarks anyway, so I'm well used to them. I just thought I'd come over here and take a look at this match coming up next. West: Yeah, sorry about that. *Don pops another pill* Tenay: Well you'd have to expect the winner of this match would be in line for a shot at your title. Do you have a preference there? Flash: I do have a preference Mike. I want to face the best of the best to establish myself as a legend in this business. Therefore, I just wanna see the most deserving woman win here tonight.
Penzer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, representing the Beautiful People, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Angelina Love!
Penzer: And from Mexico City, Sarita!
