When I think of nostalgia, I automatically think of my childhood days of watching old-school Nickelodeon from late 80s to early 90s. One "special" I just happen to recall out of the blue was this one called "Stories from Growing Up". It featured two celebrities -- Jamie Lee Curtis and of course Hulkster.
I forgot what Jamie Lee's story was all about, but I don't think her young years living as a hermaphrodite was the topic. However, I remember Hogan gave his tale of tough times being the fat kid in school. Looking back, I laugh my ass off just seeing Hogan proclaiming "BROTHER, running up and down the football stadium changed my life, BROTHER!" as he sure as hell kill himself if he did that today.
Too bad I can't find a video of this, but I know there's some people out there who do remember this.

I remember Jamie's being about her getting in trouble at school, but she gave The Principal a wrong phone number, and she got away with not having her parents find out, as the phone kept on ringing through out the day with no answer.
I remember both stories clearly. I watched them a lot during my childhood.

I thought Jamie Lee Curtis being an hermaphadite was just a rumor I was being sarcastic. Just by taking a quick glance at Hogan's IMDb page, there's just too much Wrestlecrap material to cover in cause if you need to fill in a weekly update. The Ultimate Weapon seems like a keeper.

I would love to see that special again. About the only think I can remember from it is the commercial, which showed a chubby kid dressed in red and yellow shoving chili dogs into his mouth while the other kids cheered.

It's probably been like 15 years since I've seen it, but for some reason I can still remember him winning a dare to eat a whole shopping cart full of food.

I remember the special back in the day with him eating all the ice cream bars and running up and down steps. Is it on youtube?

Knowing how Viacom is anal with their videos on YouTube, I'm sure someone caught wind and had it removed.

I remember that Nickelodeon special. Seeing a young fat Hogan training, saying his prayers, and eating vitamins was awesome. What was funny though was when they timed him to see how much food he would eat.
