Imagine if when Vine bought out WCW he got the whole roster aswell including Ric Flair, Hogan, Sting, Goldberg, etc. Aswell as Eric Bishoff being their GM. foget ECW getting involved. How would the PPV card look?
persoanlly id do it like this:
WWF Championship Goldberg vs Stone cold Steve Austin
Sting vs Undertaker
Hollywood Hulk Hogan vs Triple H (see what i did there!)
The Rock (with Vince McMahon) vs Ric Falir (With Eric Bishoff)
also matches involving Booker T, Kane, RVD, Team canada and Scott Steiner

Can I do one for TNA I had a while ago?
Vince McMahon arrives on RAW to announce a new general manager, revealing it to be "an old adversary who joined his Kiss My Ass' club." Most people suspect it to be the return of Bischoff or Heyman...but are quickly proved wrong with the familar sound of dissonant guitar riffs play over the arena loudspeaker, with a raspy laugh following it. The GM in question is Jeff Jarrett!
That Thursday on Impact, Jeff arrives to explain his actions: most people assume that he has sold out to Vince, but in truth, Vince played right into his hands. He now has the means to invade WWE with his 'superior' TNA wrestlers, and their isn't a darn thing Vince can do about it because he signed the papers himself that allows the talent exchange.
Some of the storylines will include:
Cena introducing Samoa Joe to the audience as one of his closest friends, and the two of them go on a tear as the new Super Powers. Eventually, one of them turns on the other (not sure which one), and begins a feud between the biggest star from the house of TNA and the biggest star from the house of WWE.
Kurt Angle makes his WWE return, and quickly establishes himself as a force to be reckoned with by feuding with Triple H. Kurt and Triple H have a long history, but now the rivalry between companies are fueling their animosity.
Miz and Morrison, still on shaky terms, decide to put aside their differences so that they can prove that they truly are the greatest tag team of the 21st century by taking on teams such as No Limit, the Motor City Machine Guns, Team 3D, and Beer Money. Cryme Tyme and the Hart Dynasty also join the fray, and eventually a tag team tournament is set at an upcoming PPV to decide who would become the holder of all three sets of belts (IWGP belts not included).
Christian faces off against the rest of the Main Event Mafia in order to avenge his pride after being beaten down by the group on his way out from TNA. Joining him on his quest is former TNA Champion R-Truth, and newcomer Kaval (Low Ki). Eventually, Edge joins Christian's side.
AJ Styles begins a feud with Jeff Hardy, with AJ telling Jeff that he could have been a TNA Champion if his own demons didn't get the best of him. Jeff tells AJ that he has long since conquered his demons, citing his own World Title reign.
Undertaker is facing off against Jay Lethal, and is for the most part dominating the match until the lights go out and the arena in eveloped in darkness. When the lights are back on, Undertaker is on the floor unconscious, and Lethal immediately gets the pinfall and the biggest win of his career. However, the sight of Sting retreating through the crowd is shown, sparking off the long-awaited rivalry between the two.
Basically, stuff where you can find yourself rooting for either side.

ECW doesn't join up with WCW. Also, Eric Bischoff buys back WCW from Shane McMahon, and then it turns into a three-promotion war.

The Invasion could have been incredible if they were able to sign everyone who signed after it was over.
WWE Championship Austin (c) vs. Hogan
WCW Championship Angle vs. Booker T (c)
The Rock vs. Goldberg
Undertaker & Kane vs. Hall & Nash
Jericho vs. DDP
Triple H vs. Flair
Big Show vs. Steiner
Edge vs. Mysterio
