With the precouser of tonight War between TNA and Raw, I thought bring out, the infamous event that happen 11 years ago today during the original Monday Nights War, that change pretty much everything. So happy 11th brithday to the fingerpoke of doom.

You know, I didn't realize it until after it ended, but it's amazing that Impact... {Spoiler}...ended with Foley getting beaten down by Nash, on the orders of Bischoff, with Hogan watching. It was like a Fingerpoke Reunion party. |

 You know, I learned something today.... I learned that Schiavone's "butts in the seats" line failed so damn miserably, that when I was looking at Hogan's Wikipedia page today out of boredom, and when that date of Jan 4, 1999 came up, the first thing I thought of was "Oh yeah, Mick Foley won the WWF title 11 years ago. Congrats, Mick" Good job, Tony. And everyone else involved. |

I forgot how hot that crowd was for this. I guess this was basically the end of that kind of enthusiasm in WCW.
