No, the thread title does not refer to her fanbase here in the IWC since she has debuted in TNA. I am referring to a short lived, blink and you'll miss it storyline from the latter days of WCW. At the time, Daffney was working as a valet for Crowbar. They were hinting that he had a crush on her in various backstage segments, and was building up to confess to her. Then one night some shmo came to ringside during a match and gave Daffney a boquet of flowers, and she screamed something about a "secret admirer." This went on for a few weeks where it was hinted that Daffney had a boyfriend, and it was causing Crowbar to become distracted and lose his matches. They eve showed the guy on television a few times-rather nondescript looking, long hair and a goatee. The remotely sensible thing in the wacky world of wrestling is that this guy was a new wrestler, and this was going to lead to an on air feud and a match over Daffney. Instead, she vanished for a few months-out with an injury I believe-and the whole thing was dropped overnight. Crowbar went on to become a tag team partner to Mike Awesome, then going through his "70's guy" gimmick and the secret admirer was never heard from again. So who the heck was that guy? Anyone have even a clue? Outside of appearing at ringside with Daff, I don't think he ever got in the ring even once. Was he even a real wrestler? Just a question I have sometimes wondered about, especially since Daffney is back on television.

Was probably going to be Crowbar. So Crowbar was going into competition with himself over Daffney's affections? ... Sounds like something Russo would do.

The idea might have been that Daff was basically going out with a guy who was exactly like Crowbar, but not him, And Daffney would be oblivious to that fact. Which would have driven Crowbar even more crazy. No idea who the guy was tho.

The guy who played crowbar's twin was known as Ozzie (Ashley Hudson). He and Daffney would show up at ringside to distract Crowbar during his matches. I think I remember it mentioned that he was from Australia?

The idea might have been that Daff was basically going out with a guy who was exactly like Crowbar, but not him, And Daffney would be oblivious to that fact. Which would have driven Crowbar even more crazy. No idea who the guy was tho. Then Daffney showed up after being gone for like 2 months, saying they broke up. She then liked Crowbar (who was now oblivious) Then....WCW released all of the female talent and the storyline died. I liked the 'Crowbar loves Daffney' angle though. Cheesey but cute
