The rumor was that King Kong Bundy would be in the egg at Survivor Series. But would that have been better? I mean, if history changed, wouldn't we be mocking that someone came out of an egg to begin with?

I don't think it would've mattered much what it was that came out of the egg. Just a ridiculous idea that couldn't possibly lived up to the months of build for it. It could've been someone like Bruiser Brody or Ric Flair and it still would've only served to make that person look like an idiot.

Rumor at the time was that Ric Flair was in the egg. Regardless it was a dumb idea which served no purpose.

I think it would've ruined Bundy's career, I could see him tripping out of the egg ala The Shockmaster

Anything that came out of the egg would have been an epic failure. I don't understand how some people said it would have been better if a wrestler debuted instead of the Gooker. How so? You wouldn't take him seriously anyways, even in the WWF Circus era.

The only wrestler that should come out of an egg is the Red Rooster.

I think the only good thing that could have come out of it are new titles of some sort. At that time WWF only had World, IC, and Tag. A TV title would have been cool. Of course, someone (or somethign) would have had to have been in the egg to be holding them...

Then again, how would Wrestlecrap have been affected by it? Would it not exist all together, or would they just name their award after something else?
