Ok, just got back from running a few errands this morning and as I am coming down the street I see two joggers. They look as if they are going on the sidewalk, but all of a sudden, decide to jog in the road. Seriously, why the hell do they have to jog in the middle of the road when cars are coming down the road?
There was one time I was coming to an intersection and got the green light and all of a sudden two joggers just came out as I was about to go not caring about oncoming traffic
Add in the fact their short shorts, looks of pain all the time and just the vibe that "Hey we are doing something healthy we are better than you," just makes me want to go all wild and yield a baseball bat

I live on a kind of narrow curvy road, and people will be walking on it instead of the bike/walk path that runs along side of the road. They say "Oh, road's better for exercise because has hills, etc".

It's not about you joggers who go round and round and round.
Anyway joggers can be bad but cyclists are 8 times worse.

Any jogger who uses the road when a sidewalk is available should be fined for abject stupidity. When I jog, I only use the road when there is no other option. It's not about you joggers who go round and round and round. Anyway joggers can be bad but cyclists are 8 times worse. When I was in college I rode my bike to school pretty much every day. Drivers were worse than anyone else bar none.

Joggers and bicyclist are the worst!!!!! Haven't these people ever heard of a gym?
On the HIT SOMEONE WITH YOUR CAR GAME joggers are worth 50 points. Bicyclist are 100 because they are harder to catch.

Joggers are annoying, but the guys who go out and buy the bright pink Lance Armstrong onesy/catsuit, carbon fiber helmet and standard issue Oakleys on their bikes are the absolute worse. Driving on a country road, they insist to ride the center line and never move out of your way as they do 1 mph up a hill. Several times I've almost rationalized a vehicular manslaughter charge.....

Cyclists are far worse. They actively swerve right in front of you. I swear they do this on purpose because they know they can.

Joggers and bicyclist are the worst!!!!! Haven't these people ever heard of a gym? Where I lived, it was faster to take my bike than either car or walking. I can't tell you how many absolute morons drive around with their cell phones in their ears not paying attention as they swerve all over the road or pull out without looking. Cyclists have just as much right to use the road as drivers.

There's two kind of cyclists...... 1) The guys/gals that use it as a means of transportation and are typically mindful of their surroundings. 2) The Lance Armstong-wannabes who plague country roads that typically have poor visibility due to the fact they're winding with blind corners. They're always dead center of roadways with posted speeds of 45-55 mph doing a brisk 3 mphs. The 1 category can be annoying, but they typically are safe. The 2 category are idiots who deserve to have their lycra one piece suits banned due to obscenity laws and are always causing traffic issues.

If they're disobeying traffic laws, they should be ticketed for such. If not, any annoyance is the driver's fault. Drivers have tons more worse habits than anything cyclists have, and far more dangerous ones. And if winding country roads have such poor visibility that you can't see around corners, you shouldn't be driving on them at high speeds anyways. If a cow happened to be around one of those blind turns that you're speeding on, you'll probably end up in an ambulance one way or another.

I literally see people jogging everyday and I just want to shout at them as they do such a half assed job where they're basically walking/stumbling. You're never getting healthy by doing that.

People get healthy by walking all the time. Any physical activity is better than none. You never get healthy by driving anywhere.

Drivers have tons more worse habits than anything cyclists have, and far more dangerous ones. Did you miss the part about being in the middle of the road doing 1/15th of the posted speed limit? That's not legal, even if you do have a killer hot pink outfit. You're supposed to be over as far as you possibly can so as to not disrupt the flow of traffic. There's a ton of idiot drivers out there, no argument there, but these idiots are asking for their death on a silver platter. It seems many bikers are comfortable with the notion of everyone else paying attention to their own stupidity and disobeying of common sense instead of taking every necessary precaution to not be mangled by a 4000 pound hunk of metal doing anywhere from 20 to 60 mphs.

I hate joggers on the road, they keep alerting people about my thumbtacks. Those things are expensive damnit!

No problems with joggers....yet
Cyclists are the worst. They ride their bikes everywhere EXCEPT the bike lanes and bike trails and have no courtesy whatsoever for the vehicles that BELONG on the roads...and today is Sunday, the very worst day to drive. I'll be driving on the blvd, i'll come across a group of 10 cyclists flooding into the street. I'll slow down behind them waiting for them to get in their bike lane, but they won't move, they think that i should just go into the next lane which has oncoming traffic to pass them.

As a long distance runner I can see that the joggers you are running into do not know jack about running (or at least they maybe just started) you never run in the center of the road/lane, you only use the road if nothing else is available, and if you are using a road then run on the side nearest to the edge and towards ongoing traffic so they can see you and you can see them.
