Yeah, I'm a mark for the extremely pale one, even if his "Doobliner" accent is a pain to navigate. So what do you make of Sheamus so far, now that he has launched into his first honest to goodness feud with Goldust? He is ready for TV at all? Or is he too green in ways unconnected to his nationality? (Also, wow at WWE remembering Goldust was thrown into an electrical breaker over six years ago by Evolution. That's the continuity they choose to maintain!?) How about that finisher? That music? That potentially Guile-esque hairstyle? His elementary school Irish promos? (Above) Sheamus scraping the barrel after another two Irish promos. Sheamus fans, unite!

I don't think he's green at all. I think he's easily one of the best new talents I've ever seen. By this I mean he doesn't show any butterflies and feels like a regular on both the mic and in the ring.
He'll be ECW Champions by January.

It's not gonna be THAT quick. By next August, maybe. But four to five months after he debuts? Isn't that a little... Oh, right.

He's not going to be breaking out the amateur moves any time soon at least. I think he needs to change his finisher. It's too awkward for my liking.

But if he can manage a version where the opponent runs into it and he can do the backbreaker quickly and safely = win.

I like him and I've enjoyed his feud with Goldust. I have to say it was so refreshing to see a new guy come in and look dominant, but not have to rely on the overused "undefeated streak" angle to get it across. He's traded both wins and losses with the Golden one and I don't think losing did him any harm.
What I'm really hoping happens is that Goldust, realising he's in trouble; really plays up the "mind games" element we really haven't seen from him since his return. Sheamus just seems like he'd be perfect to play off of.

Dude has quickly become one of my favorites. I believe he's got "IT." That natural charisma that can take him far. Also got a unique look and a nice finisher. He should go far.

From the first moment I saw his picture I wanted him to debut.
He has an awesome look. And I like his physical style and his little feud with Goldust.

I've been a mark for him since the fall of last year. Glad to see he's made it to the big time.

His and Goldie's match last week was excellent. Goldust has been trying like hell to get the fans to care about him since his comeback, but it wasn't until that match that anyone did at all. Part of it is him getting a chance to work a long match and really get the crowd into it (which he is an underrated genius at), but Sheamus was right there with him and is great at getting heat.

Also, he's got the best music in WWE. There, I said it.

I'll mark if he busts out a bit of "ciuneas cailin bothar bainne" or "sharon ni bheolain" (I apologise to all non-Irish folk who won't understand this).
Also, have they given his finisher a name yet? I loved the name for his finisher in FCW, "The red right hand"

I want to know why they dropped the "O'Shaunessy" from his name.

I want to know why they dropped the "O'Shaunessy" from his name. Because it's so long. I mean, how many letters is that, 50? WWE love to shorten down names anyway. Weird that he's just called Sheamus though, it would be like if they cut John Cena's name to John.

I want to know why they dropped the "O'Shaunessy" from his name. To allow for the eventual discovery that he's Finlay's half-brother, Sheamus Finlay! Talk about an odd couple, I mean, an Irishman and a Northern Irishman? HOO HOO HOLD ON TO YOUR SIDES!
