I loved the Sarge heeling it up on the denizens of MEXICO NORTH (TM, Scott Steiner) all night.
I'm not sure anyone's ever going to compare to Shaq, though.

Abysmal. Why the hell have a host like that? He did nothing of note, and only served to agitate and irritate not only the live crowd, but me as I was watching at home. His heel actions served no real legit purpose since A)he's not a full time wrestler who can get what's coming to him later and B) they never paid off his asshat behavior with any real, tangible outcome.
Worst one yet, IMO.

I thought he was pretty entertaining, but it really made no sense that he worked all night to get mega heat and then...nothing happened to him.
Although I wouldn't be surprised if something happened to him off the air.

Best guest ever
I like having legends instead of the c list celebs
I'd like to see him back with Adnan and Iron Sheik for another guest spot

TBH, I was expecting something like the Hart Foundation 2.0 to run out as the show was ending and just beat him mercilessly, to the thunderous cheers of the Calgary crowd. SOME sort of payoff to his needlessly dickish behavior.

Hell, I'm surprised the show didn't end with The Sarge putting Tyson Kidd in the Cobra Clutch just to get one last shot in. Vince loves to rile up Calgary and Montreal crowds.

Gave him a 5. He wasn't terrible, but he didn't do anything overly entertaining either.

Really pointless host

I think he tried way too hard to agitate the crowd. It just came off as forced.

Gave him a 7. He didn't exactly do a lot but when he was on screen he was Gold, bar him stumbling over his words a bit later in the program.
Plus he actually made me happy to see Hacksaw Jim Duggan. For maybe the first time.

7. I have no problem with the entire show being a kayfabed snork you to Canada, but it didn't go anywhere. Sarge was fine, he didn't monopolize the show, but what was the point? You just go out there and insult the people, insult them again, feign Bret Hart, and resume insulting the people and no one takes exception to it? Perhaps he doesn't "get his," but someone should have tried imo.

I agree. The old-school heeling was amusing, but there was no payoff to it. Like somebody else said, they should have had the Harts, Christian, whatever face Canadians they have come and beat the snot out of him at the end.

I think that WWE realized that Sarge wasn't going to get much of a recaction in Canada do they had him be a heel to get an easy reaction. YOu can question why they used Sarge in the first place, but I thught it was the perfect way to use him in Canada and have another way to have a "heel" host. The Bret Hart bait and switch was piontless though.

He was like the rest of the show, mostly harmless.

Better than Piven/Ken & ZZ Top. That's for sure. They were just awful.
