I believe we will see SD back to Thursdays sooner rather than later...
Thoughts...

Considering the ratings they were pulling prior to the Friday move, I think it's a no brainer. That being said, a new network is equally if not more important.

It aint gonna happen. All the networks (ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS) are putting some of their highest rated shows on Thursdays this fall. Or shows they believe will be big. So if Smackdown moved to Thursdays, they would lose the casual fans to shows like Greys Anatomy, The Office, Fringe, Supernatural, The Mentalist and these new shows if they take off.
Keep it on Fridays where the other networks dont put up as much of a fight as the shows put on that night have proven audiences and will not hinder Smackdowns rating. They should worry about getting on a network thats in a better and bigger market.

What's mynetwork going to put on Thursdays that's going to pull in a higher rating? They could move to Thursdays on MyNetwork, cause that station has jack for programming from what I can tell. But as I stated above, the shows moved to Thursday for this years lineup would, in my opinion, hurt Smackdowns ratings.

Still I don't think SD would lose any viewers to Grey's Anatomy at least, Fringe and The Office yes.

With Bones and Fringe on Fox. And Survivor and CSI, I do think Smackdown would fare all that well.

CBS also moved The Mentalist to Thursdays starting whenever the fall schedule starts. If I remember correctly, that was their big new hit last year, so I think it Fringe, and The Office would be the big 3 Smackdown would contend with on Thursdays. And Flash Forward from ABC if its as good as the previews make it look.
To me, Fridays are just a safer bet for the WWE and whatever network they are on.

TNA's got a pretty nice deal going with spike at 9 pm est. I bet Smackdown would like that exact time/day/channel.

Yes, please oh please! Friday does not do it for me. Ya know, I initially read that as "Finlay does not do it for me" and I was wondering where in the hell that comment came from. Ah, I love Psych!
