I'm glad that WWE gets a great overall talent but, I'm way happier for Nigel because he finally gets his shot, he's had a few injuries over the last couple years and probably has some of those same bills to pay that Danielson talked about in his speech at that PWG show.
I really hope he does well and I think he will because in my opinion he has everything that you need to be a star.

YES i can imagin albright and stevens going to wwe after this one. i hope they get strong aswell. ROH has a tough few months ahead of them now, trying to get new stars into the main event to fill the gaps. Albright? The huge return of Gunner Scott? Yeah, Albright was just a crowd killer in WWE. Nigel on the other hand, I could see that working out. He's a good wrestler, but he also stands out as a character which is what a guy needs to do in the 'E.

Congrats to Nigel. Also the next NTI on ECW could potentially feature Nigel, Danielson and Low-Ki. Good times.

I might have to start tuning into WWE a bit more often if this works out.

I expect Claudio's name to be popping up in short order as well. Maybe even Tyler Black if they want to take a gamble.

I feel great for Nigel, and considering how his injuries have been piling up in recent times, now was the time for him to cash in and get himself set up for life, if possible (not sure if he'll get that far, but here's hoping).
The man has EVERYTHING you need to be a star. He's not the same type of in-ring master artist that Danielson is, but he's a spectacular worker who could just as easily work a striking style as he could a submission match, and he's damn good on the stick, especially as a heel.
That said...Dragon AND Nigel gone in one month, and I'll be at the last show for both of them.

By the end of the week, ROH will consist of Lenny Leonard, Andy Ridge and D'Lo Brown.

good luck to him....hopefulyl he won't get the Braden Walker treatment
as for ROH getting gutted they had to have known it was going to happen after their tag line for the Monday night shows

I doubt it had much to do with the tag line or anything personally. That's the one part of the story I never bought. The ROH contracts for the major players they signed in 2007 expired back early in the Summer, and when they weren't re-signed they had to know WWE would send feelers out to gauge interest in coming over. This was almost inevitable. I didn't figure Dragon would say no for a third time, and Nigel has said "WWE" in so many interviews that he had to be signaling his desire to go there. Like I said, I highly doubt this is the end of the signings.

I'll see your proper Nigel pictures, with my creepy obsessed ones: Notice how I'm pointing to my heart in the last one and he is wearing the shirt I gave him (which I gave him when I had picked him up at the airport the day before). Yes I'm bragging and shit but my favorite wrestler just got the call up I'm flipping excited! ;D

I'll call it now: The Rebound Lariat will be the next "big move" in the WWE. I know that the bulk of the ROH fanbase hates it with a passion, but the WWE crowd will eat it up.

Fun story, when I went to see NOAH in Coventry, my friend and I went outside at the meet and greet to try and get some signal, and Nigel was randomly talking to, or chatting up, the girl on reception. We didn't say anything to him but it was ridiculously cool to see randomly.

This is great and I with him the best. The question is can he stay healthy. That what he had problems in ROH was health. Now the WWE schedule is best hard on a lot of guys. I hope he can handle it and stay healthy. If he does he should do very well.

With Danielson, it's two amazing signings. First of all, It makes me happy for both of them, especially if they last and thrive in the company, just because it means the protection and flourishing of their livelihood. And second because they're two really great talents who WWE could easily make into stars. Here's hoping.
As for ROH...Honestly..I'm just thinking selfishly and going "..Who else would be great in WWE?" Black and Delirious come to mind..

Very exciting to be a WWE fan. I've heard nothing but great things about Nigel and AmDrag. Can't wait to see them wrestle on TV.

Wow. Finally a Brit who has a serious chance of being a World Champion. I fully support this move, as long as WWE use him correctly. He's not even British... He's from Arkansas! [/Kevin Steen]
