Everyone knows WWE made a huge deal of Summerslam ths year with so much marketing and promotion. For it to do this bad WWE must be upset.

It's obviously Matt Morgan's fault for not continuing with WWE. We will continue to punish him by not pushing him. Sincerely, WWE Management

Phew at least ratings for Raw are ever so slightly up thanks to the Guest Host thing.
For a second there I was worried.

financially it is just better to wait for the DVD(one month later) or Netflix or Classics on Demand- wait 5-6 months- the point it- I have to either be sold on the card- I have purchased a WWE PPV since Mania or the event

The year before featured the culmination of feud that lasted over a year inside HIAC with a returning Undertaker and two classic promos in the weeks leading up to it, that should result in more buys.

Nobody knew Undertaker was returning but if they had hyped a return maybe buys would have been better.

Gee...maybe a PPV every 3 weeks isn't such a great idea after all.
Ugh, most likely they are still making a huge profit on each event so they will all stay, while the product continues it's freefall into the ground.

Maybe the # is down because last year's show did so good because of 2 great main events including the WrestleMania-worthy first-ever Cena vs. Batista match.

The Bash only did 178,000.I see one of the past couple of PPVs matching that.

Quite obviously, this is all because of UFC and no doubt absolutely everyone is terrified in Titan Towers at the moment. Quite literally running around, screaming, and pulling their hair out, gentlemen.

In all business you can not make a loss long term or any business fails. I mean Summerslam took not a small hit a huge hit this year.
