I did too. A well booked feud that made sense, built off a previous feud HBK had and had some pretty good promos.

Can't believe Batista didn't go heel out of this. He was a HUGE dick throughout.

I enjoyed it, though the ending was pretty abrupt. "Michaels just admitted to being everything I accused him of... but he's busy with Jericho now and I beat him at One Night Stand, so who cares?"

Shawn Michaels had like the best year for feuds in 2008.
He went from feuding with Flair, to Batista, to Jericho, to JBL so seamlessly it felt like one long feud. I loved it.

This is why I think it's going to be hard to turn Batista heel again. If this didn't do it, what will?! Well in all fairness, they never go all the way when Batista does something questionable. Im sure if he just snapped and beat the crap out of HBK sending him to the hospital with WWE giving him a few weeks off and playing up that they dont know when he would return, with Batista bragging about it...that would work. Its just that WWE isn't interested in turning him into a full on heel. |

I cannot stress how much I hate the Girls Gone Wild Sorority Cowgirl hat worn by Shawn Michaels. I'm surprised Joe Francis didn't look into potential litigation over this blatent trademark infringement.

Look 4:05 in that video where he puts Umaga over, and the part at 7:05 where he fully respects kayfabe wrestling as being a competition, not a scripted event where one guy lets another win.
