I was a huge King Booker fan, but the only time I found him entertaining prior to that was when he was with Goldust.
But hey, he's got workrate.

Right now the WWE will rehire any known talent if it helps the roster levels, so I can easily see it happening. Absoluutely. Look at the list: Jeff Hardy - well covered in this thread. Eddie Guerrero - Fired him becuase of drug abuse and then rehired him. Sable - Re-hired her even after she filed a $110million lawsiut against them Matt Hardy - Left WWE, took shots left and right at Edge and Lita(he did have good reasons) which killed Lita as a babyface and got rehired IF WWE sees value in you, they will hire you no matter the past.

If he does come back, I hope he comes back as plain old Booker T and not King Booker. That gimmick did nothing for me.

Well, in that case, bring back Warriyah! The only 99% exceptions are Ultimate Warrior and Macho Man Randy Savage. The Warrior's problem with the WWE are well known (even among casual fans), but Randy Savage's problems with... Vince.... are unknown to the pubic at large.

Warrior's worthless at this point. He's not the same person. Off the juice and old. It would be sad to see him come out at his current size and do the shit he used to do. Besides, he had no workrate then and got winded after running to the ring. Dude might not make it to the ring nowadays.

REEEESPECT!!! I think he should do his TNA gimmick, which is like a cross over of normal booker T & king bookah.

Repost from the TNA thread...
Booker's on his way out of TNA, he knows it, and is being a primadonna about it.
His in-ring work in TNA has been sub-par at best, he's supposedly selfish backstage, and clearly has a massively inflated opinion of both his current value and his supposed legacy to the business.
TNA should be glad to see the back of him, and WWE should turn all the lights out in Titan Towers and pretend no-one's home the moment they see him coming up the street.

WWE has more than enough old guys on the verge of retirement anyway, and most of them easily outdraw Booker.

Sure, he might being a dick in TNA, but maybe, considering his legacy, maybe he has a certain right to? This guy was a main eventer and upper midcarder in WCW and WWF respectively, and perhaps he should have a certain prilivege to perhaps demand for certain things in a company like TNA?

If Booker comes back to the WWE (which I hope he doesn't), then I'd expect to see him on ECW, with the brief to make the young guys look good.
That's the only role I can picture for him.

It would be awesome if he returned as straight up booker t, shorter dreads, street talk, babyface.

Besides, he had no workrate then and got winded after running to the ring. Dude might not make it to the ring nowadays. I wasn't thinking about in-ring. Maybe as a manager role, assuming the WWE will ever do that again. But how would you do his kayfabe? I know he broke character from the rambling, yelling, snorting Warrior a long time ago, but since Hellwig changed his name legally to Warrior, he's become synonymous with his character.

He's always been sloppy in the ring, his kicks and kness just look like there going every which way like an Octopus. His King gimmick was fun for awhile, but got stale real fast. Also I never found his mic work that funny or that good. And finally, he won't put over young talent in TNA, what makes you think he'd put young talent over in WWE? Money? I pretty sure he's making good money in tNA and works WAY less dates, so I don't see WWE giving him that alot more money then TNA.

Again, this Morgan incident is the first bit of news there's been about Booker not putting any talent over. Certainly in his feuds with Joe and AJ there was no issue.

If this whole story is true, to me that's says he doesn't agree that Morgan will be a star like AJ and Joe. Well to bad, Booker just needs to man up and do the job as he's getting paid by TNA and it not like TNA is asking him to do something outlandish.

Booker was main event in WWE and WCW and headlined PPVs. TNA has treated him like a midcarder pretty much his entire run. I am not saying I agree with it, but I do understand where he is coming from. TNA has a tendency to bring guys in, make a big deal about them, kiss their ass and then once they have them they change their tune and do nothing with them until they strike upon the next big debut. Perhaps he was promised better treatment and more of a spotlight than he received. At any rate it doesn't matter because Booker wont be able to pull any BS in WWE.

I remember Booker saying on record when he went to TNA that he'd quit the WWE because he thought he was headed to ECW, so I doubt we'd see him here.
I also doubt we'll see him in the WWE at all. The WWE is unlikely to create the relationship with his wrestling school that he'd wanted before he left, and I suspect that's something he'd push for in order to come back.
