I hope that he does it out of character but in his wrestling gear. The idea of Taker in a suit just doesn't seem right.

I wonder how long it would take Randy Orton to walk to the podium if he ever gets inducted.

I don't think it's "all one thing" so to speak. I don't think that just because he comes out with a long coat and a cowboy hat on to make a grand entrance that it means that he's necessarily "in character". He could both speak normally and tell jokes while at the same time referring to his fans as "creatures of the night" and having a great entrance and not be considered fully in character.

Keep in mind that you *never* see the Undertaker on camera in situations where it would not fit his character. He is not shown during the HOF ceremonies. He does not make an on-camera appearance during memorials, nor does he do interviews regarding the wrestler being remembered. Even his in-ring tribute to Ric Flair was done off-camera (though this was later released as a feature on the DVD).
Undertaker is and always has been very concerned with maintaining that image, and wouldn't be surprised if he kept that attitude even after he retired. For that reason, I think there's the possibility we won't see a traditional induction for him when he does get inducted, and we may simply get a video package instead.
That all being said, I think it's all or nothing with him. If he steps out of character, I expect him to be fully out of character. I can't see anyone else but Paul Bearer or Kane inducting him. And I fully expect him to be in the same suit and tie that everyone else wears.
