I really just think that Big Show got the tag title reign just so they had something for him to do. To be fair, it's not like they didn't have options. It would of been very easy to just put Kane in his role, and put Big Show in the Khali feud. They didn't, though, so I think they saw some potential there.

I really just think that Big Show got the tag title reign just so they had something for him to do. They probably did, but personaly I'm more than happy with the results. Oh, agreed. I was getting tired of Show, but in his pairing with Chris Jericho, I think that it's seriously refreshed his character. He's such an excellent in-ring foil for Jericho, playing the monstrous powerhouse that rips people to shreds when his smaller (though no less dangerous) partner needs the scales tipped in his favor.

Agreed. It also brings out the smart-ass jerk part of his character in the best way, even better perhaps than his Edge feud did. He also looks important when he wears a suit, like a, well, Big Shot.

That's true, but I think that they probably saw Big Show as a more natural fit for the role, hence him getting it. Why would he be more likely to randomly attack Khali than Kane? On the other hand, would he be a better match for Chris Jericho? I think so. I'm not complaining though (as said in my previous post, I REALLY have liked Show more now than before), but until he got paired with Jericho, it really seemed to me that they didn't have a very good idea of what exactly they wanted to do with him.

True. His feud with Cena had ended, so it's not like he had much to do. Show probably would of feuded with Khali for similar reasons, saying he's not intimidated, except it'd have less supernatural-esque slant, and more them pitting Giant vs Giant.
