I miss the Funeral Palor, great interview segment, I think Paul Bearer could still work with Taker, but I don't Taker needs a manager anymore

I love Paul Bearer, I would really love to see him back. At least for Undertakers retirement match. He's actually the only wrestling persona I own an original autograph of. Okay, I'm not sure if it's genuine, and I got it off eBay for one Euro as the only bidder, but that's not the point.
Look, he was a short fat guy in a black suit with a screechy voice and zombie make-up on, and still so many people love him instead of hating him as an obnoxious embarassing sidekick, that's how good he was.

Another reason is Paul Bearer actually remembered the storyline from nearly seven years before. At WM XX just before he turned to await the approach of Taker he yells to Kane in the ring "you're no son of mine." that was classic, I mean I had forgot all about that part of Kane's character until PB mentioned it and then I had to rush and look it up myself. I marked. And yes, I have always missed Bearer.

I loved the days when he walked side by side with Undertaker & Kane. I reckon he could still be a great manager and lead a new superstar if not Undertaker & Kane. I reckon it could be great and I wish he would return. He still has a lot to offer the business.

I loved Paul Bearer! While I also agree it's time for Taker to retire, I think Bearer should come back for a hand in his last feud, or at least the last match.

It would be awesome for Paul to work with Undertaker when he works his last feud. paul and Undertaker will always go hand in hand. They did a lot of work together and Paul has a lot to do with Undertakers success.

Not really.. the welcome back pop you were talkin about was nice, but he really wouldn't serve any purpose with Taker nowadays.
Then again, I wish the BikerTaker persona woulda stuck, so I'm the wrong dude to ask perhaps.

I also remember the time he popped up here during the old EZ Board days. That a was a fun lil surprise moment until he got into an argument with some poster. I don't remember what about.

That was 20. And that was five years and basically a different era ago. Bearer would get half-sold by the crowd today. Like the Rock did. Even in the time of wrestling related guest hosts? Also, what era? It's been ages man!! 'twas only 5 years ago John Cena was in the main event! Man how times have... aw dammit

I always liked Paul Bearer...was actually surprised the way he was used when he introduced Kane...I can always remember him sayin "KAAAAAANE HE'S ALIVE UNDERTAKER!"
But my 2 favorite comedic Paul Bearer moments was when Stone Cold through him in a Freezer and when he had to fight Big Show on RAW "I'm not a rassler...please don't hurt me"...lol I just miss hearin his voice

Thing is I was never a real big untill I bought the ROH shoot with him and Jim Cornette. If you haven't seen it, its so good. After that I became a huge fan of his.

I really liked him, but he has had a great career and he wouldn't really fit anywhere in todays current scene. No argument from me, but I still miss him.

I am missing all managers. What the hell happened to 'em? I think that you have a point there, actually. Managers and valets... it all goes back to that whole "don't know what you got 'till it's gone" thing.

The way that I see it, The Undertaker is still pretty cool, but there's just something about Paul Bearer that complemented the Undertaker and made him way more awesome and I miss that element. I mean, when the Undertaker returned at WM 21, just look at that pop when Paul Bearer simply said "Oh, yes!" so I know that I am not alone. What does everyone else think? That was 20. And that was five years and basically a different era ago. Bearer would get half-sold by the crowd today. Like the Rock did. *smacks own forehead* Oh yeah, duh... 20. My bad. But as I have said a post or so ago: I agree that he wouldn't really fit in today, but I think that you can still miss him and other managers.

And speaking of Bearer returning, I would mark out if he did get involved in the oft-talked about possible feud that Undertaker may have with Dibiase Jr.
Imagine that feud, eh?
Teddy could have his old man at his side, and Taker has Bearer on his.
That being said, I do not think that WM would be a good place for Taker to retire - it totally should be Survivor Series - next year would be perfect - 20 years.
