Still pissed that Rumbles aren't online, but as long as they've stopped censoring logos/crotch blurs, I'm happy. Sadly, Goldust alone may warrant a purchase....yes, I'm weird. Crotch blurs are still in. Cory was asked that question in an interview and said it still remained. That he wanted it taken out but it couldn't be done. Well, good to see he's still a pathetic lying little troll. Of course it can be done, he's the lead f'n designer! |

I was over at gamingring a minute ago and I was reading on how you can only use a CAW in Create a story up to 10 times. Yup, 10 times. This'll suck if you're an avid CAW user, like me.
So this, coupled with the fact that I can't have intergender matches just dropped this game from "must buy" to "no buy"... just like every other Smackdown game before it since 06.
Yeah, it sounds petty, but that's the way I am.

Yeah, it sounds petty, but that's the way I am. I'd be somewhat hesitant on some things that Gaming Ring says...they've been wrong plenty of times in the past...they were the most reliable back in the days when Sanders Keel was in charge of the wrestling games at THQ... The fact that the lead developers have come out and said thigns that they straight up contradict has me wondering what is up with GR's coverage especially the last Q+A I read where RAWF didn't even look up half the things that people were asking... |

When he said "he can't do it", I think he meant the higher ups at THQ or WWE wouldn't let them do it, due to issues they have with people putting penises and whatnot on wrestlers. Which doesn't make any sense, because I thought they were going to let the online community decide what could stay or go. You know me, I hate defending the guy, but what he says makes sense, sadly. unless, of course, he's lying about it, in which case, f him.  One thing that's driving me nuts about the game is that there's all this contradictory info about the Superstar stuff that Yukes has done nothing about clearing up when it comes to making CAW's. I guess it won't get cleared up until it goes gold and we have it for ourselves. And I'm really annoyed with the whole women not being able to fight men thing. I know WWE has it's reasons, but I have a CAW who's main gimmick is that she can wrestle and beat men. I don't see why they're so backwards about this, because they're afraid women's groups will get on their case about violence towards women? Get real. |

If this whole "You can can only use your created wrestler 10 TIMES in your story" business is true, I'm cancelling my order as soon as possible, because the whole reason I was looking forward to this game was making stories with created wrestlers.
I'd much rather have $60 dollars still in my wallet then waste it on some uninspired piece of garbage just so I can say I beat it and have some new achievments.
(Of course, if we can only use ten CAWs in a story, but use them as much as we want - like we were led to believe - , then that's fine)
Edit: My anger has simmered down now (i.e.: I am no longer in complaining fanboy bitchy mode). I'm probably not going to to cancel the order, because even with this horrible development, this game is still head and shoulders above the last two installments.... but, I would still like to have that $60 dollars remain in my wallet.

I'm thinking and hoping it's a total OF 10 CAWs you can use in your story. That way my ROH Invasion storyline will work.
First thing, making Danielson, Nigel, Hero, Delirious, Rhett, King, and Myself. Good times all around.
Punk playing middle man as WWE Champion, but with loyal ties to ROH, with everybody questioning where his loyalties lie.
Kendrick being the first to jump ship, and nobody really notices.
Nigel and Dragon leading the charge for ROH...only to jump ship and go Pro-WWE.
This has potential to be greatness.

So, some news off of that site made for twits... 20 new double team moves, including a double RKO. Also, Shawn Michaels has two different alternate attires, and a few things more things have been mentioned as being reanimated, including Sweet Chin Music and Old School.
Also - apparently the guy posting all of this info created a storyline where JR dies and is resurrected as Gail Kim. Kay then.

I understood it to be you can use 10 CAWs per story any number of times you want. I really hope GamingRing have got that wrong. If they've not got it wrong and it really is 1 CAW 10 times, I'll certainly think twice about buying it, as last year's, while fun for the add-ons, due to the labourious CAW process and hit-and-miss bits and pieces, didnt end up value for money. I will say this, the guy does have a very annoying face. 20 new double teams is neat thuogh. I'm hoping for one of Londrick's fins, either the Get Well Soon or the Slcied Bread/Powerbomb, Deuce & Domino's Crack Em in The Mouth, and a proper Total Elimination instead of a calf kick & sweep. Not bothered which, if any of the above are in I'm happy. EDIT: Been reading the Gamingring thing. If he's got it wrong I dunno how as he sounds to have taken a reasonably thorough look. Also saw in the same topic on IGN a report that "1. We can create 3 alt attires for our CAWs (Ring, Cutscene & Entrance)" in which case....more misleading stuff from THQ, as that isn't alternate attires and has been in every year, and the layers have always overlapped. Have to wait and see I know, but I'd been suspecting this for a while so it wouldn't shock me. |
