Hi. Just watching the Ziggler and thinking how much I enjoy his work(particlarly is move set and selling) and just how much his hair kinda reminds me of Ric Flair 80's hair. I know, hair is hair and you can change it. So are the characters of wrestlers too. After one of his TV bouts I saw last weekend I was just imagining a bejeweled amazing robe that colour matched his shorts shorts.
I've always felt the love for the character that the "Nature Boy" presented not as in he's Ric Flair but he as a colorful personality who's a very good respected wrestler even if he's a rulebreaker.
Do you think I'm pyning back to old school days or do you think a character of yesteryears is a wrestler could/should be around forever. If not Dolff Ziggler what else could there be. I hope I'm coming through here or would it bug to see a new "Nature Boy"?
Guess you can't do "Natue Boy" Chris Jericho because of what Jericho did to Flair on TV about 9 monthes ago. Or could be a great angle.
My last thoughts are could you go for revamp for Dolff Ziggler or have him win some titles first before the "nature boy" character comes in.
Lastly it's ok to say stuff like "NAture BOy" Rey Mysterio.

Maybe I should have asked should there be another "Nature Boy" in wrestling?

There's only one Nature Boy. Why force a guy into his role, rather than letting him carve out his own niche?
It would be like debuting a guy in red and yellow and calling him Buck Brogan
EDIT: I know there's more than one Nature Boy, what I meant is there's no way anyone could follow in Flair's footsteps, so why try?

Would anybody else mind seeing Kenny Dykstra and Johnny Jeter come back as allies to Dolph?

I was sort of expecting someone would take the gimmick when Flair retired to stay with tradition. Of course, Flair owns the gimmick and seems to have problems with staying retired, which would defeat the whole purpose.

I'd like to see some wrestler in the future who's had only selective exposure to wrestling on TV and calls himself the "Nature Boy"... after Buddy Rogers, and repeatedly states he has no idea Ric Flair is.

Odd question, but back in the late WCW days, could anybody else have bought Alex Wright as the next Nature Boy?
Because I damn sure could have. He was damned sexy, a pretty good wrestler, and was about to have his own faction with Jarrett and Eddie.

Man I was really hoping that Flair would pass on the Nature Boy moniker when he retired fromthe E. I don't mean the wrestler has to be a Flair rip off more of adapting a few traits and incorporating them into their character.
I was really hoping it would be Burke.

If I had a choice, Edge would challenge Ric for it, beat him, and go around impersonating him for 5 months, until Ric trained someone to take it back. He'd get the rub from beating Edge, he'd get the rub from Flair as a manager, and we would get to see Edge do his Flair impersonation.
Although, in all fairness, I don't see the appeal in a reference to a obscure 1940s jazz song. That's like nameing a wrestler Jeff "Kama Chameleon" Hardy, or Christian "Staying Alive" Cage.

I just hate how they handled the Ziggler/Maria angle.

Why has no one gone with the moniker "Nature Man?"
And his finisher would be called, "Nature Calls."

There's only one Nature Boy. Actually there are 12. Let's see, other than Flair, off the top of my head: ---Buddy Rogers ---Buddy Landell ---that one guy from AWA ---"Black Nature Boy" Scoot Andrews and probably a bunch of other sad indy wrestlers.

I just hate how they handled the Ziggler/Maria angle. Yeah, it made no sense to me either. I'm not sure what "makes" the Nature Boy gimmick anyway. Stylin' and Profilin'? That reminds me more of heel MVP - and if he goes back that way, he could certainly crank it up a bit higher and call himself the Brooklyn Naitch or some such. Otherwise, imo the gimmick is fairly close to Rated-R Edge. His stunt with Lita, the live sex celebration, and quite a few other things were really off the top and obnoxious. He further seemed to step on Ric's toes (in a good way) with all the cheating he did. I would mark like crazy if he did a promo saying that now he, Edge, is the dirtiest player in the game - and he has the titles to prove it.
