For the first time in a long time I watched the KOTR Street fight the other day DAMN good match. Then I saw Shane & Angle spilling the red stuff then thought yea that wont make it in the pg era as a release even though its something people would pay for.
Now I remember saying years back that they should have made a Shane O' Mac dvd a long time ago.
If they made one now with his greatest matches would you buy it?
What should be on it?

In a word? No.
In more words, I was never interested in the guy, and his matches were mostly just big, dangerous spots, linked together by him being flung about like a rag doll.
He was certainly ballsy to do that stuff, especially considering he's the son of the boss, so credit to him. I wouldn't pay to see any of it again, though.

Of course he never really had a bad match:
Shane vs X-Pac Wrestlemania 15 Shane vs Test Summerslam 1999 Shane vs Steve Blackman Summerslam 2000 Shane vs Vince Wrestlemania 19 Shane vs Big Show Backlash 2001 Shane vs Angle King of the Ring 2001 Shane vs Kane Unforgiven 2003 and Survivor Series 2003 Shane vs Shawn Michaels Saturday Nights Main Event 2006 Shane & Vince McMahon vs HBK and God Backlash 2006 Shane & Vince McMahon vs DX at Summerslam 2006 and Shane vs Randy Orton at No Way Out 2009
As matches and a documentary and I would buy it

I like Shane Mcmahon and he has had good matches but I wouldn't buy a DVD of him.

Good list though - and even though I have all of these matches in one form or another, a good documentary and I would still buy such a dvd.

There's at least one homemade one floating around in the tape trader community. It features everyone of his matches from 99-2006. His matches were always entertaining.

Why not? It can't be that hard to put together, and I didn't watch during that time period when many of his best matches happened, so I'd love to be able to see all of them.

Like shane or not I feel he does have a story that needs to be told. He has a interesting career and has worked some good matches with the likes of
Vince Mcmahon Kurt Angle Kane Austin Mankind Rock
He has had better matches then Vince has.

There was supposed to be one like last year and it fell through.
I wouldn't buy it.

Am i the only one who thinks Shane/X-pac was overrated? Everyone praised it to the heavens, then i saw it and it was an average match.

It would be good for a single DVD. He hasn't had tons of matches and most of them were good. So why not?
If they released a VINCE DVD why not a Shane one? At least Shane had some actually good matches compared to Vince.

The matches are what I care about. If a DVD has a good doc but is filled with crappy matches I may catch the doc somehow but I would never buy the DVD since I wouldn't watch it more than once.

A story of his career would not be bad and Shane has had some decent matches.
