All he does is mention in passing that Benoit and Jericho were who he and Austin were wrestling when he got injured.

yeh i know but it just seemed weird that it actually showed him too i mean on the wm24 hall of fame his name is edited out of flairs speech.

All he does is mention in passing that Benoit and Jericho were who he and Austin were wrestling when he got injured. It's not that big of a deal. Actually, it is. At the time of the DVD release, the WWE wouldn't even mention Benoit at all. If he was involved in a storyline that they were discussing, they'd gloss over him as if he wasn't involved. So, for them to mention and show Benoit on a DVD after the incident is quite the shocker for a lot of fans. |

I think a funnier one is on the Jeff Hardy DVD Jeff said I went to work for the other organization. Then not even 3 min later he says my contract with TNA had expired. I'm like why didnt you just say TNA the first time?

I think a funnier one is on the Jeff Hardy DVD Jeff said I went to work for the other organization. Then not even 3 min later he says my contract with TNA had expired. I'm like why didnt you just say TNA the first time? The Hardyz dvd? I gotta see this now. |

Benoit does appear on the Smackdown! DVD too, during the TLC Match....all be it for about 5 seconds and his name is never once mentioned.
Still shocking to see his face on the DVD though, it was like I saw a ghost.

Then it says and the tag team Champions and it shows Jericho and Benoit. You can tell they picked a shot where he would be barely noticed. Then at the end of the match it shows Benoit's back from a distance grabbing the titles, then Jericho holding the title by himself. |
