Be a man, Hulk. Pull yourself together and actually face your own problems. Is that you, Randy Savage!?

I wonder if there's a chapter devoted to that rumor that Linda caught Hulk and Brian Knobbs in bed together with Knobbs wearing a wig that looked similar to Linda's hairstyle and Brutus Beefcake was in the corner of the room buck naked videotaping the whole thing.

Lancers, how many times do we have to tell you: the definition of "rumor" is not "things you dream about at night".

Gonna take the high road and say I've always been a fan of Hogan, and it was sad to see his family life crash the way it did. I understand a lot of his pain and frustrations, having gone through divorce myself (though I can't imagine what it has to be like losing all the houses and cars while some little punk ass is living it up with your ex with all you've worked for). I just hope he has found and maintains peace and happiness.

Well, if Hogan *was* going to kill himself, I'd maybe suggest somehow bodyslamming himself. I mean, sure, it took 3 whole days after Wrestlemania 3 to fully kill Andre, but it did eventually do the trick right? RIGHT?
That said. I don't believe that Hulk can even die, let alone commit suicide. Gorilla Monsoon once told me Hulkamania would live forever, and I believe him. I mean, he did know what the crazy bump on the back of your head was called. So who am I to doubt him?
Besides, that would be real awkward on commentary edit.
Gorilla at Wrestlemania 6: "HULKAMANIA WILL LIVE FOR APPROXIMATELY 19 MORE YEARS BEFORE TAKING ITS OWN LIFE!"
See? Not nearly as cool.

Leila Ali part "She called after noticing he had been looking distracted at work"
At work? Hogan and Leila work in an office or something together?
As for the story, I don't believe a word of it.

From people who have reviewed this book, it's sounding like this one is just as much a book of fiction as his WWE-produced one. Sounds good to me!

How could anyone make jokes about this? Even if you believe it MAY not be true for whatever reason, and even if you don't like Hulk (I personally am not his biggest fan), but for anyone who has never dealt with depression......it's serious stuff. And the last two paragraphs clearly scream he needs help more than ridicule.

And the last two paragraphs clearly scream he needs help more than ridicule. I feel bad for the guy, but the fact that all he has been doing for what, the past year or so is talking about how depressed he is, doing interviews and stories about it, etc. Hogan is the kind of guy that tries to parlay everything he does for attention and press to translate that into money. So excuse me if a lot of his stories seem pretty outrageous and pleas for attention. If he is really in that bad of a state he needs to get help. A guy like Lex Luger had his entire life destroyed and his health fail him. However, he actually went out and did something about it to get his life back on track instead of doing tons of interviews whining about it. Hogan needs to take a page from him instead of trying to get attention all the time. Thats just how I feel. I have been in this position before so I know how Hogan feels, but its hard to feel bad for him when he still has tons of money and the means to help himself. Luger didnt even have that.

And the last two paragraphs clearly scream he needs help more than ridicule. I know what you mean. That's why if I saw Hulk right now, I'd give him a big (prolongued unmoving 15 minute) hug, and tell him, "When it comes crashing down, and it hurts inside, you gotta take a stand, it don't help to hide." I think he'd really appreciate the advice. That all said, THIS IS HULK HOGAN WE'RE TALKING ABOUT. I'm taking it with a grain of salt, bruther. Salt that Mr. Fuji just tossed in my general direction, dude.

I'm just saying if there's a 1% chance it's true it's not worth making fun of.

Hogan's life has really become quite sad compared to what it once was. He was probably one of the hardest working wrestlers in the biz on and off for many years, so the fact that his marriage stayed together as long as it did seems a miracle. To have it fall apart so suddenly and quickly can't be anything but devastating to the man.
But on that same note, let us not try to paint him as the great American family story gone bad. I get the honest impression that the Hogan household had it share of dysfunction, but they were just good at denying it to themselves. Lets face it, no kids can grow up quite right when you have a mostly absent father-especially one who is famous and causes you to get exposed to the world at a far younger age than most others. And perhaps there were always some cracks in his marriage, but they kept it together for the kids sake. When the kids were grown and making their own way, suddenly there was no reason to keep it together. And of course, lest we forget, Hogan was the one who pushed for the reality show that supposedly destroyed his marriage, so he is not at all blameless here.

My immediate reaction to Hogan after reading that story: Be a man, Hulk. Pull yourself together and actually face your own problems. Randy Savage, is that you? The last thing I want to see is Hogan dead of a suicide. I'm glad he's still going.
