...because I'd really like to go to "Shawn Michaels" for dinner tonight while watching the wrestler dancing out front in a monkey outfit.
In case you have no smurfing clue what I am talking about, before No Way Out JBL told Shawn that if he won there match he would open a resteraunt called "Shawn Michaels" and have Shawn dancing outside of it in a monkey suit.

TWF's Catherine Perez made this frickin' hilarious Photoshop of Shawn in a monkey costume.
Websense blocks that site at work, so I can't find it.

I blocked out that whole thing from my mind until you reminded me of it.

That would be the funniest thing ever.
I just imagine JBL if HBK would have take a break: "DANCE MONKEY, KEEP DANCING!!!"

It was a decent feud..it just ended kind of abruptly it seemed (appearantly cause JBL wanted out as he was done by WM). HBK superkicking JBL than Cena is perfect and represented my preferred character for him to a T.

Also their match was awful at Royal Rumble and considering HBK had like the best match ever with Taker at WM two months later, and JBL appearantly couldn't go at WM (hence the 10 second "hilarious" match) it was probaly mostly on JBL.

Am I the only one who was heavily reminded of Space Jam by the feud?

I liked the feud personally.
Especially the RAW where HBK layed down for JBL so he could become number 1 contender, and then Jericho and Orton whining about it and wanting HBK banned from the Rumble.
And HBK costing Rey his match with JBL, and then watching reluctantly as Mike Knox beat the crap out of him.
Yeah RAW was actually good at the start of the year.

I miss JBL so much it actually hurts. One of my top 5 heels ever and probably around the top 5 for promo's as well.

I'll just throw in that I hated this fued and thought it made zip sense from any context, but I've already said my reasons (and, at points, been flamed for them) but just throwing it there.

I was among the members who actually loved the feud. I loved it as well because there were certain parts that made HBK a tweener and it's as if the fans reacted slightly negatively to Shawn but were absolutely disgusted with JBL like he made one of their heroes a bad guy. I thought it was really well done.

Despite the lack of logic behind it, I enjoyed the feud. It was actually somewhat interesting and involved two guys who are promo masters, so they sold it very well.
Its just that I always thought JBL sucked in the ring outside of a hardcore brawling environment. In regular matches the guy puts me to sleep.
For the promos and moments it brought I was entertained by it though.

I enjoyed the feud being a JBL fan i didnt think much of the match at nwo & the feud ended rather quickly after the build up, but they had a much better match on raw a few weeks later. Miss JBL loads but he's doing well for himself outside the wwe, in my opinion wwe lost there best pure heel.

I miss JBL so much it actually hurts. One of my top 5 heels ever and probably around the top 5 for promo's as well. Definately agree. JBL was one of those heels, who were able to remain booed throughout the entire heel run. He never got cheered, and that's an accomplishement these days, when wrestling has been exposed as a worked sport. JBL was also one of the very best mic workers the WWE had during the five years he had the JBL gimmick. He wasn't the Ric Flair-like broomstick guru in the ring, but especially during his WWE title run, he bumped a lot in the main event matches to make up for his lack of ring talent. He really worked his ass off as Champion, in my eyes. I miss JBL.
