Why did Teddy not just get Chioda to DQ Taker for chokeslamming Armstrong? Or shouldn't Chioda have done that himself? Seemed like blatant abuse of an official to me.
I didn't see why Taker had to beat Punk clean again on the go home show for the PPV, unless they're going for the usual 50/50 booking. Anyone else think the same, or have other thoughts?

I don't watch SmackDown, but based on the spoilers and on Taker's present condition I personally think Punk's a lock to win. My guess, something or other (maybe Festus? I can hope, dammit) draws Taker from the ring while Batista's just powerbombed Mysterio. Goes for the pin and one, two, Punk breaks it up, nails him with a chair or something, and steals the pin. Continues the Batista / Rey feud they're obviously building toward and really way it's been booked Punk is the only guy I can see winning.

Actually I forgot it was a title match, so they wouldn't want to go for the DQ finish, unless Teddy changed the rules so that the title could change hands on a DQ, or just hold up the title.

They have done the spot plenty of times [where a wrestler attacks an official and then another one runs out instead of the wrestler being DQed], so it didn't confuse me. As far as why Teddy did not have Taker DQed, that wouldn't have achieved his goal of taking the belt off of Taker and putting it on Punk since the title wouldn't have changed hands that way. I thought the booking of the match was fine. Punk losing made sense, you want the champ to go into the PPV looking strong, especially since it looks like Taker is probably going to drop the belt via someone else being pinned. If Punk wins by pinning another guy at the PPV besides Taker, the guy he cant seem to beat without tons of cheating, he looks more heelish. I was actually more confused by the booking of the ReyTista vs. Y2Kane match. You would think going into a PPV centered around a huge interbrand tag match you wouldnt want the captains of the team losing to a couple guys who arent even going to be in the match. Not to mention Rey or Batista losing a tag match via miscommunication wouldn't have hurt them and would have helped further work towards their inevitable feud...but whatever.
