SmackDown vs. Raw WWE Bragging Rights Tag Match is Official. The winner of every RAW match will team against the winner of every Smackdown match. So Cena/Orton has to go first then. Orton wins and Cena debuts with Smackdown that night. Cena would have to do it via run-in or something, cause he cant debut for SD in the match if he loses.

As somebody who is going to be there...I am not thrilled about the IronMan match. That is going to kill the crowd if it goes first, unless they go balls to the wall and do some crazy stuff during it.
Also, the whole idea seems boring since this can and should be a Survivor Series event. I don't want to see the same people 2 or 3 times that night.
Oh well, hopefully they have some decent t-shirts and stuff this time. I went to SmackDown a few months ago, and they didn't have anything good.

Love the part about Cena ending up on SD at the end of the night, but man, throwing Orton and Cena out for 60 right off the top of the show may just kill the crowd for good. You're right, they'd have to probably, but man. Only the winners advance to the final match, so if Cena lost he couldn't wrestle for Smackdown in the main event.

I guess ECW can just kiss everybody's backside, huh?
EDIT: The team of Christian, Yoshi, Goldust, Shelton, and Dreamer is where it's at.
You know it.

hmm, i would say we get three, four matches tops before having Cena/Orton, then the main event tag match, which will proabably last all of about 6 or 7 minutes.........

So if you really want to speculate. We are atleast going to have 6 matches. Because DX will be on the PPV which are 2 people and Jerishow will be on the PPV which are also 2. So MINIMUM of 3 Raw and 3 Smackdown matches. Well lets see: Raw: Cena vs Orton: 1 Hour Midcard Hell from Raw match: 15 Minutes DX vs Legacy or someone else: 10 minutes Smackdown: Undertaker vs ??: 10 Minutes. Because the world champ is a cripple. a match that fits in Batista, Rey Mysterio. Without facing themselfs: 15 Minutes Jerishow vs somone: 15 minutes Raw&Smackdown match: 6 Man Tag Team Match(MINIMUM 6 Man Tag) : 25 Minutes Now you have : 2 hours 30 minutes. Then you take a promo in the ring: 15 Minutes and you have: 2 hours 45 minutes Put in video packages, entrances and backstage promos: 15 minutes Total: 3 hours Voila

With the video package for the opening of the PPV, plus Orton & Cena's entrances & intros, the match will probably start around 8:10 est as I think WWE will try and get it started fast.
So plus the hour match, there will be about an 1hr & 40/45 mins if they take it to 11:55 which the might have to do for the other matches and that's not counting video packages & entrances before the other matches.
Now with that being said I'm guessing only 7 matches with 3 RAW, 3 SD! + 1 Big Tag and again no ECW.

Cena vs Orton 1 hour? Oh my god this maybe a good match but how many times are the WWE Management going to give us this? Cena wins end of feud.

The way that I thought I heard Cole explain was that there would be 4 matches during the night, with the winners teaming later in the Bragging Rights tag team match.
So we'd get:
Orton/Cena - Iron Man Something with the WHC and Undertaker DX vs Jerishow for the Tag Titles seems likely.
Along with: 2 SD 2 Raw Tag Final
7 matches in two hours is possible, especially if one is a squash.
This is the only way I can see this stip working, as where would they place the Iron Man that would give the winner time to recover? Putting it first would be a disaster. It's more likely to go last, after the Bragging Rights match thing.
Otherwise I don't see how it would work?

In the first part you say its 4 matches and then the main event, in the second part you say its 7 matches. And you are also forgetting that DX vs Jerishow means, that either Team Raw or Team Smackdown will have 2 more participants in the main event on either one team. So in your Theory it will be 5 on 3 for one brand. So it is not possible for DX to face Jerishow. I think WWE booked itself in a corner with this concept, because the whole concept is stupid and it almost takes Albert Einstein to book the freakin card.

What I meant, and thought I explained it, was that the Bragging Rights stuff would be 4 matches and a tag final.
You would then get the 2 World title matches, and my guessed tag title match.
The Orton/Cena match will go an hour.
A PPV last 3 hrs.
Therefore, you would have the 5 Bragging Rights matches, plus the WHC match, plus the Tag match in the other two hours (hence what I said about 7 matches in 2 hours).
Only the Bragging Right's matches have people that appear in the Bragging Rights tag. So, the other 3 matches are seperate.

No way they could squeeze in seven matches into less than two hours. The iron man will go sixty minutes, we're not even taking into account video packages, entrances, and post match celebrations for that match. WWE usually have a seven match pay per view in 3 hours. With the iron man, the most they are going to fit in while giving each other match a decent amount of time is four matches. Its stupid but there you go.

They did it regularly in the high Attitude era.
back then it was strange to get a PPV with less than 9 matches and that included much more backstage and storyline moments.
They could easily get 7 matches into 2 hours if they had one be a simple squash. See Smackdown, they do it pretty much every week (well, about 6, hence my suggestion one match just be a squash or a sneaky heel win or something).

I'm guessing there will probably be five matches - World, WWE, one extra Raw one, one extra SmackDown one, and the main event tag match.
Guessing they'll open with, say, the random SmackDown match, then do Iron Man, then the random Raw match followed by the World title match. That should give Cena or Orton sufficient time to cool off enough to play a minimal role in the tag match, while it's also likely the best route to ensure the crowd isn't dead for the rest of the evening after the Iron Man match.

Orton/Cena will put me to sleep, but I'm liking the idea more now that I know the whole show won't be RAW vs Smackdown, just the ME.
Surely it'd be better suited to Survivor Series, though...
