Does he take it back to Raw? Stay on Smackdown and wrestle both shows? Single world champs only work their brand.
When Wrestlemania rolls around, Hopefully Batista wins the RR and goes after the WWE title against Cena. Jericho wins the WHT form Taker and takes on Edge at WM for the title. 2 great main events.

And that's the reason why we know that Big Show is going to do the job. And that's the reason why everyone groans at the matchup.
And oh by the way (I don't read spoilers), what the hell are Punk and Jericho supposed to be doing with another brand's superstar getting a title shot against a face champ? Should Punk and Jericho team up against Matt Hardy and R-Truth in a dark match this month? Ooh - way to put your most over heels in positions of prominence and make a hobbled babyface look better in the ring.

I have my theories as to what will happen in the World title match, but to mention it would involve bringing up spoilers.

He'd still be tag champ. This isn't like when the Ultimate Warrior won the title and had to vacate the IC title.

But if Show wins, You know Jericho will be jealous and somehow they'll lose the tag titles because of their own friction. Then that would leave Raw with both world titles. I doubt this will happen and its a long shot. Just throwing it out there.

Thinking Jericho and Show will drop the titles either right before or right after Survivor Series, since I'm thinking Jericho's taking the strap.
Which, honestly, I don't really want to see happen. It beats Taker, but serious Jericho's gotten old in my opinion and it would lead to Edge / Jericho headlining Mania more than likely - surely be good, but I have no interest in that match as an undercard one, much less the main event.
Though if Jericho does win, and defends against Taker at TLC, then people can finally stop inexplicably wanting that match to happen so there's that.

Surely there's a deal that Show keeps the belt on Smackdown if he wins it. If Show wins and takes the belt to Raw, that makes Teddy Long the dumbest GM ever.

Here's the thing: Big Show's going to do the job.
Also, the sky will still be blue tomorrow.
Water will remain wet.
And so forth.

When Kurt Angle won the WHC in that battle royal (which is a dumb way to win a title, IMO, but that's better left for another time) he had wrestled on Raw the night before, but upon winning the title he became "property" of SmackDown! I'm pretty sure it would be the same way for Big Show.

I thought that Angle had actually become a free agent (his contract with RAW had conveniently expired during the week) Entering the battle royal was his way of debuting on Smackdown! At least I think.

Though weirdly Punk didn't go to SmackDown when he took Edge's title the next year - I guess either the writing's just inconsistent (okay, that's the answer), or it depends on what day of the week you win the belt.

Like the brand split matters for jack anymore...see Sheamus randomly jumping to Raw.
They'd just have him keep the tag belts and jump around shows. Not that it matters anyway, Either the third man wins or taker retains.

I'm kinda-sorta thinking that Punk will be added to the match, really. If he isn't I expect Jericho to win, but if he is then I figure most of the storyline building to the match will center around him and Taker having to reluctantly work together to fend off Big Show & Jericho's alliance, only for Punk to stab Taker in the back and steal the title at Survivor Series.

All very valid points.
On the plus side we sort of get to see Jericho vs Undertaker for the first ever time.

Didn't Triple H drape a Smackdown shirt over Big Show at the end of the beating? I figured that was supposed to imply he was now a member of their roster.

Big Show wins the WHT.
Jericho squirms his way to winning the WWE title the next month.
2 MAN POWER TRIP 2009!
