AJ hits the Styles Clash for the win.
Mike: He just sent a strong message to Hoyt there. Stevie: And if he does it next Friday, he'll be Legends Champion. Mike: Before we head to our next match, Shawn Daivari has something to say.
Hey Stinger! I hope you're getting ready for Victory Road. I know I am. Y'see, for years, I've been the other guy. I was the advisor. I was the personal referee. I was the translator. I was the backup singer to a damn pop reject! But...
NO. MORE. Sting, I will take the first step. I will prove my worth, even at your expense. Never again will people look at Shawn Daivari as just an Evil Foreign Heel. Soon, they'll look at me and say...
FUTURE. LEGEND.
Stevie: I'll be keeping a close eye on that match. A win for Daivari may get him a shot at the Legends Championship. Mike: Let's take it to JB for our next match.
JB: Impact continues with Knockouts action. Introducing first, Raisha Saeed and Awesome Kong!
JB: Their opponents, the team of Madison Rayne and the WCTNA Women's Knockout Champion, Traci!

Traci hits the Pie in the Sky on Saeed for the win.
Stevie: Traci wants to do the same to Kong at Victory Road Mike: Earlier today, I had the chance to talk to both Rhino and Brutus Magnus. Guys in the truck, roll the interview.
Brutus Magnus and Rhino are sitting somewhere in the back with Mike Tenay sitting between them.
Gentlemen, thank you in advance for agreeing to this interview. Certainly there is a lot at stake this Friday at Victory Road. I'd like to start with you Rhino. It could be technically said that you have more to lose than Brutus Magnus, at the age of 33 you are nearing the twilight of your career, that you may not get too many more chances at the WCTNA World Heavyweight title.
I understand the situation full well, Mike. I'm not exactly decrepit just yet. But I know the depth of talent in WCTNA means there will always be a guy who's stronger or faster than me. Take my esteemed opponent here. There is no-one in the history of WCTNA who has had a faster rise than this man. But the thing is once you get to the top, there's nowhere to go but down. And conversely when you're at the bottom, there's nowhere to go but up. Eight years ago I became ECW champion. Then a few months later I find out we had been bought out by that big fish up north, meaning I would be the last ECW champion. The big fish brought me in to play in there pond but I was nothing to them. A nobody. When my demons got the better of me it was no surprise they fired me. That was my personal low point.
But then a light shone through the darkness. Jeff Jarrett offered me a job in this new company he started called TNA. You see TNA was barely three years old and just starting to get off the ground. It was a perfect place for guys like me, guys who had nowhere else to go. And just like you I made an impact. And just like you, mere months after I debuted I won the big one and became NWA world champion. But again when you're at the top you can only go down. I lost the title, I had friends turn on me. It's been four years since I've held the world title. In this business that is an eternity! When this company became WCTNA it was supposed to be a fresh start for everyone. It took a while but I'm finally in a position where I can once again become world champion. Like I said Mike, being a world champion is like a rollercoaster. Once you're at the top, there's nowhere but down. And I'm afraid Brutus here will find that out first hand.
Brutus, as Rhino here has noted, there's only one way to go from the top, and that's down.
And Rhino is right Mike. I am the top dog in this company, and the only way to go is down. It's simple facts. There's a problem with the whole scenario though - I'm not ready to fall from the top of the pile. I've been champion for coming up on 4 months now. That's a fairly reasonable length of time to hold a title belt in the modern era of wrestling where the competition is stronger, tougher, and where the frequency of title matches is more than it ever has been.
I'm glad that for the first time during my reign, my opponent has actually noticed my credentials. You know, going into my first two defences, the bookmakers didn't give me a hope of retaining my championship belt. But I did. Most of the wrestlers I competed against complained that I hadn't earned my way to the top. I haven't paid my dues. And yet here I sit at the top of the mountain - the KING of the Mountain after Slammiversary as it happens.
Rhino challenged me for the belt before, at Slammiversary in fact, but things are very different in a one on one situation, than they are in a King of the Mountain style match-up.
Rhino, this is a match built on mutual respect or at least I think it is. Hell, you even sided with me at Lockdown against AJ's team. You helped me to secure the match type of my choosing for Sacrifice, and, while I'd have beaten AJ anyway, that match was made decidedly easier as a result. But Rhino, with all due respect, and believe me, I respect you Rhino, do you really think you can get the job done? Do you think you can win the title again?
I don't know if you understand this, Brutus. It's not a question of thinking. Have you ever lain awake at night wondering if you still matter? Have you ever felt like that maybe some decisions you made were wrong? I'm at a crossroads right now. You see wrestling is the only thing I've ever been good at. And if I'm not good enough to be world champion, then I dunno if I should be here.
The fact is you have the most valuable prize in this company, in the business. It's not that I think I can beat you. I know I can but that's irrelevant. I NEED to beat you. More than anything you can ever imagine.
I can understand why you think you need to beat me Rhino. You're a 2 time world champion... and neither of those reigns really lasted quite like you'd have wanted. You won the ECW title at Guilty as Charged 2001, taking the chance to attack Sandman after he'd just won the title in a TLCC match. Then a few days later ECW had it's last show before eventually folding 2 months on.
Your 2nd world title was the NWA title. You took advantage of an opportunity at Bound for Glory 2005. You took the spot that was initially there for Kevin Nash, and you took advantage by beating Jeff to win the title... and then lose it just a few days later on iMPACT!
Both of your reigns, you've taken advantage of someone and had an uneventful disappointing reign. That's where we differ. I've been champion now for longer than both of your reigns put together. I've actually made successful defences.
And Rhino, you may think you can beat me, but they all have thought that so far, and none of them have been right. I've been pinned once in WCTNA and I was defeated by the illegal man in Abyss during that match. Nobody can put an end to my reign of terror - not even you.
Now Brutus, you touched upon your previous title defences earlier. Given that all of your opponents have been different, can I ask, without revealing your hand so to speak, how will facing Rhino compare to the likes of AJ Styles?
It will be entirely different Mike. Rhino has experience that AJ can only dream of having. Rhino is a proper athlete. Rhino shows respect. I would say this will be my toughest one on one title defence to date. Rhino will give me a run for my money, but at the end of the day, the end result will be just like it was on May 1st at Sacrifice when I beat AJ clean as a whistle, and truly took the wind out of his sails. That is, except after Rhino and I have concluded our battle, I don't think Rhino will tuck his tail between his legs and do a runner. Rhino will keep on plugging away until he earns another shot.
If I can ask you, Rhino, the same question. How do you intend to do what others have certainly not been able to do and end the four month reign of Brutus Magnus?
You want to know my gameplan, Mike, that it? My gameplan is simple. I will walk into that ring with fire and fury, I won't back down, I will not quit! I will walk in there and do what I'm paid to do, what I'm good at, and that is kick some ass!
See AJ can claim he got screwed. Maybe he did, maybe he didn't, that's an issue for another time. But the fact is that AJ Styles wasn't able to take the title from Brutus. None of the four challengers, myself included, could take the title in King of the Mountain. But come Victory Road things will be different.
Come Victory Road, two unstoppable forces will meet and all questions will be answered.
If I can come to Impact this Saturday when this interview will air, we now know the two of you have one final test before Victory Road. You, Brutus Magnus facing the always competitive Eric Young, Rhino with arguably a tougher test in the WCTNA Legends Champion Lance Hoyt.
Well the situation between myself and Lance Hoyt is well documented. With all due respect Magnus, I know Hoyt is part of your little group, but I don't like Lance Hoyt, I never liked Lance Hoyt and I probably never will like Lance Hoyt.
But as far as Lance Hoyt goes, he's a stepping stone. My focus is Brutus Magnus, my focus is the WCTNA world championship. As far as I'm concerned, Lance Hoyt is Brutus Magnus and tonight is just a preview.
Well Rhino, you're right. Lance is certainly going to give you a preview of Friday - because if he's Brutus Magnus, prepare to be facing the lights - just like you will be on Friday.
Tonight I have Eric Young. It's the opportunity of Eric's career. Eric, don't get your hopes up buddy. You will not be the first man to beat me clean. You're just another step on the Victory Road for me. The final step is on Friday when I retain my title at Victory Road.
So gentlemen, I thank you again for your time and for maintaining your professionalism. Can I just ask for your final thoughts.
For my final thoughts I shall summarise. Rhino is a worthy opponent, and a top athlete. He is definitely the calibre of performer I look to test myself against in this organisation and I have all the respect in the world for the man. But Rhino, when all is said and done it will be me with the belt still around my waist.
Let's put this whole respect issue to one side. The bottom line is that you have the WCTNA world title, the ultimate prize for anyone in this company. I hope you bring your A game Brutus because I sure as hell am bringing mine. The fact is I have to beat you to become the champion. It's as simple as that.
I WANT to beat you Brutus. I NEED to beat you. And I WILL beat you.
In the end there can be only one WCTNA Champion. And with all respect, that will be me.
Thank you gentlemen, and best of luck for Victory Road.
Rhino and Magnus stare eachother down as the scene fades to black.

Magnus hits the Tormentum on Young for the three count.
Mike: Brutus may struggle to do that to Rhino at Victory Road. Stevie: Kurt Angle and Scott Steiner have asked for some time to speak before their match.
ALEX SHELLEY!!!! TONIDE, YOU GET JUS A TAS OF WHAT'S TO COME AT VICTRY ROAD!!!! I KNOW, YOU'RE THINKIN "BUT I'M WIT MY BUDDY KEVIN NASH! WHAT CAN GO WRONG?" WELL I'LL TELL YOU! MY PARTNER IS KURT ANGLE, AND HE'S LOOKING TO TAKE OUT NASH, ONCE AND FOR ALL!!! KEV, NO DISRESPECT, BUT I GOT KURT'S BACK!!!!
AND ALEX, I'M OUT TO SEND A MESSAGE! SCOTT STEINER IS DA FUTURE OF DA X-DIVISION!!!! DON'T FORGET IT!!! HEH?! HEH?! HEH?! THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT!
Kevin, for one night only, it's Craparrazi Productions against The Main Event Mafia. When the Mafia was together, we all knew you were the weak link and the start of WCTNA was going to be the perfect place to take you out. Instead, the Mafia gets broke up anyway. You've just got six more days in this company but you don't need to worry about tearing a quad because at Victory Road, I'm going to break your ankle. As for Shelley, I haven't forgotten about Slammiversary but you have to deal with Scott tonight so you'll be lucky if you even make it to the PPV. That's real. That's damn real!
