Storm hits the Last Call and gets the pinfall.
Mike: Hopefully that match sorted out the issues between those two. Don: Well, at least they didn't get involved in a massive brawl like Jethro Holliday and Curry Man. Mike: Those two face one on one right now.
JB: This contest is scheduled for one fall. First, from Waxahachie, Texas, weighing 245 pounds and being accompanied by Cody Deaner, Jethro Holliday!
JB: His opponent, from Tokyo, Japan, weighing 232 pounds, Curry Man!

Curry Man goes for the Spice Rack but Jethro counters into the Ace of Spades and gets the win. Curry Man gets back up after a while and notices that Jethro has left but the Nation of Violence are at the top of the ramp shaking their heads in disapointment at him.
Mike: What was that about? Don: I don't know but we may find out sooner than later. Mike: Brutus Magnus is backstage.
Brutus Magnus, World Heavyweight Champion, tonight you take on the Amazing Red. Now on paper it certainly looks like the stereotypical underdog contest. Can Red beat the World Champion? That's the question on everyone's mind. Brutus, your thoughts?
I'm disappointed in you Val. You know after Monday night I thought you were actually starting to come along as an interviewer here in WCTNA. I was even willing to impart some more kind words to you right now. But you went and ruined it. You asked the most obvious and also most insulting question I can imagine.
The Amazing Red? What's that guy ever done? Remember I'm the World Heavyweight Champ. Red will come in with lots of energy because of the emotion of the occasion. No doubt I'll wind up having to hold off some early offence from the young lad. But, his emotion will ruin him. You see he sees this as his huge opportunity to... pardon the pun... make an impact. I see this as another step on the road to No Surrender. And frankly I'm disappointed that this is the best WCTNA could give me tonight. Still I'll keep doing what I always do. Win.
Now Val, ask me a better question.
Um... okay then Brutus... at No Surrender on September 4th 2009, you face off with Kurt Angle again. If you are able to retain in this match you'll get to be in the main event of the biggest show of the year, Bound for Glory against the winner of the Gauntlet for the Gold. Will you be paying particular attention to the Gauntlet?
Better question. But with all due respect to all the people in that Gauntlet, I will not be paying it even the slightest bit of attention. That match is more than likely going to be prior to my title defence. I need to keep my focus on Kurt. If I actually think about the next title defence I could bollocks it up at No Surrender.
Kurt is a top class athlete. Nobody can deny that. If I want to beat him, being distracted with other matters is not going to help me out. Kurt Angle, don't mistake my respect for your abilities, as some sort of fear. Because Olympic Gold Medallist, I fear no man. And you know what Angle, I will beat you once again. You're not the first man to make the mistake of thinking they could beat me and you won't be the last one either.
After No Surrender, the Headliners will still be where we belong - on top. We will all still be Champions. And as far as this particular title goes - Britannia will still rule.

Magnus hits the Tormentum to end it.
Don: Up next, The Nation of Violence faces Abyss and Shark Boy. Mike: But before that, Daffney is backstage.
*Daffney is sitting with her knees drawn up to her chin and rocking back and forth*
I'm so giddy. This rush I'm feeling, I dunno. Maybe it's... Okay, maybe I'm getting ahead of myself. Maybe I should start at the beginning.
My name is Daffney Unger. At least that's what people call me. And I didn't have the best start in life. But I became something. I worked hard, I did something I was good at. I channeled my anger into inflicting violence on others. And it worked for a while. But things happened that were out of my control and suddenly there weren't people to hurt anymore. I was at a loose end.
Then I met Dr Stevie. Well really it should be Dr Richards but everyone just calls him Dr Stevie. Doesn't seem very professional to me. I dunno where he got his medical qualifications anyway. Maybe he sent off for some correspondence course or something. Anyway, he took it upon himself to fix me. I know, I was skeptical at first too. But he really tried. He wanted to get me to act. I tried that but what I really wanted to do was wrestle. As luck would have it, he'd just became management director at WCTNA. So he got me a job.
But things weren't cut and dry. I got to vent my anger again, to do what I do best. But something was missing. Then I meant the most wonderful person. Taylor Wilde. Isn't that a great name? She's...Wilde! It's much more interesting than my own boring name, don't you think? I did my think and took out all my anger on her. But something was different something really intrigued me about Taylor. So I kidnapped her best friend and beat the crap out of her.
I dunno why I did it. Actually I do know why. I was trying to get into Taylor's head, to invoke a reaction from her. I got a reaction all right. She cracked me over the head with a chair and made me bleed. But it's funny. Even now I should feel sorry for what I did. Don't get me wrong, I regret hurting Lauren that badly. I never want to damage someone to the point were they need to be hospitalised. But I can't feel any real regret for hurting Taylor's feelings. I don't know why. Maybe because I know deep down that Taylor likes to hurt people too.
Because you see at this point Dr Stevie made me realise what I had become. I had to change. So I did. I became a regular person. And Taylor rejected me. She let me get beat down over a petty grudge. And I can't help but feel I was right all along. Taylor is just like me. And then things just happened. And I meant someone. A kindred spirit. That was when her boyfriend and I...well you know.
Even thinking about it it's so intoxicating. And weirdest thing is that I'm actually happy. Because it made me realise I needed someone all along. Being with him is so exhilarating. The rush of endorphin and serotonin is quite intoxicating. I don't know why I didn't realise this before. I feel giddy, my mouth goes dry, my palms are all clammy. Maybe this is...you know.
HAHAHAHA!
I can't believe it. Me in...no, it can't be. But it's something pretty close. Alex Shelley won't admit what happen but that doesn't really matter now. Finally, things are starting to look up.
*Daffney grins broadly and continues to rock back and forth.*

Mike: Last Monday on Xplosion, the Nation of Violence returned and beat down on Shark Boy until Abyss made the save. Don: As a result, this tag team match has been made. Mike: And to make up for the attack, Dr. Stevie has given Shark Boy a spot in the Gauntlet for the Gold. Don: But I'm being told that if a member of the Nation of Violence picks up the win, they will also get a spot in the match.
JB: Impact continues with tag team action. First, from The Deep Blue Sea, weighing 205 pounds, Shark Boy!
JB: His partner, from Parts Unknown, weighing 350 pounds, The Monster, Abyss!
JB: Their opponents, at a combined weight of 525 pounds, the team of Petey Williams and Samoa Joe, The Nation of Violence!

Samoa Joe hits a Muscle Buster on Shark Boy while Abyss goes after Petey giving his team the win and getting a spot in the gauntlet for himself.
Don: And the final person to be announced tonight for the Gauntlet for the Gold is Homicide. Mike: His opponent, Alex Shelley has had his problems with Daffney lately. Interesting to see how that will play out, especially after her earlier comments.
JB: This contest is schedulef for one fall. Introducing first, from Detroit, Michigan, weighing 205 pounds, being accompanied by Chris Sabin, he is Alex Shelley!
JB: His opponent, from Bed-Stuy Do or Die, Brooklyn, New York, weighing 205 pounds, Homicide!

Homicide nails a Gringo Killer and gets three.
Mike: We are just about ready for our main event but first, Kurt Angle is backstage and has something to say.
Scott Steiner, you want to know why I asked to face you tonight? It's not because I want to show off in front of Jenna Morasca. It's not because you're the champion of a division you shouldn't even be in. It's not even because of our history in the Main Event Mafia. The reason is simple, somehow, someway, you are a former WCTNA World Heavyweight Champion and if I want to beat Brutus Magnus at No Surrender, I need to be every bit as good as him. As far as tonight goes, let me do your promo for you.
TONITE, KERRANG HOLE IZ GONNA BET ME RITE INN DA MIDEL OFF DAT RIN! HE GONNA ANKLET LOK ME AN THER AIN'T NOTHANG I CAN DO BOUT IT!
And then, Brutus, I'm going to do the same exact thing to you at No Surrender and to any of those twenty guys at Bound for Glory. It's real, it's damn real. Wooo!
JB: This is your main event of the evening. First, from Detroit, Michigan, weighing 275 pounds, being accompanied by Jenna Morasca, he is the WCTNA X Division Champion, Scott Steiner!
JB: His opponent, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, weighing 240 pounds, the only Olympic Gold Medalist in WCTNA history, Kurt Angle!

*We cut to the back to find Alex Shelley in the PCS Dos offices, cell phone in hand.*
Come on Taylor, please pick up.
*After a few tense seconds, the dial tone disappears and is replaced by a woman's voice.*
Hello?
Taylor?
Goodbye Alex.
Wait wait wait. Give me a chance to explain myself.
What for? Everyone saw the video. You know Alex, everyone told me not to do it. Not to date a boy from Detroit. How it was just going to end up badly for me.
That's not how it has to end.
Really? Because all the evidence says that you and Daffney did more than just talk.
And do you think it's just a coincidence that the camera cut off before you could see what happened next?
I don't want to know what happened next.
So you don't want to know the truth? You're content to let our relationship die because you wouldn't give me a chance to explain myself to you?
....
Look, I know how things look to you right now, and I understand why you're mad at me. But if you can give me just one chance, one chance to prove to you that Daffney and I did nothing, then isn't it worth saving this relationship?
..... Alright Alex. I'm giving you just ONE chance to prove yourself. But if what Daffney says is true, and you did cheat on me...
I won't bother you ever again. You have my word.
You word doesn't mean much to me right now Alex, but I'll take it.
*The call is dropped immediantly, though Alex pays no mind to it.*
It's a start.
*Suddenly, Chris Sabin enters, his head covered in minor bandages as a result of the brawl.*
Dude, have you seen Sarita around? I'm trying to score- I MEAN get our date set. Yeah, our date set...
You're hopeless.
Thank you. Have you seen her?
Sigh, no. Why don't you ask Jesse or Homicide if they have. They are her "family" after all.
Riiiiight...
*Sabin exits the room and begins running down the hall as Shelley just shakes his head.*
