I say he has to face Undertaker and/or HBK in a one on one high profile match.

no...just no, sting can retire with his head held high that he made himself into a legend without having to work for the "almighty" vinny mac.

The WWE Hall of Fame will be enough, which I think will happen at some point.

Sting does not want to work for Vince. Ever. This is pretty clear by this point.

i'll reiterate for my feeling's, HOF i'm ok with that idea, but that's the only ivolvment with wwe i wan't him to have, he does not need to wrestle agianst either men to say he's had a full and complete career

Why is him facing Taker or HBK so bad? He's got a built feud with HBK just over Flair

Why is him facing Taker or HBK so bad? He's got a built feud with HBK just over Flair I don't think he wants to. If he did, he would've gone over in 2002 when most of the other big WCW names did. Sting in WWE is just fanfiction at this point.

Why is him facing Taker or HBK so bad? He's got a built feud with HBK just over Flair It's not him per-say it's this whole idea of "well he never wrestled in wwe so he can't possibly say he's had a full career", i respect sting for not ever jumping even when the wcw ship sunk to the bottom of the sea, and the thought he just randomly wrestle taker or hbk "so he can say his career is now complete" irritates me.

Sting/'Taker or Sting/HBK would be classics beyond a shadow of a doubt. However Sting's career IS complete simply by the fact he has been the truely one icon of this business during the last 20-some odd years to have never wrestled in WWE. However the WWE Hall Of Fame would be awesome simply to acknowledge Steve Borden's legacy.

Sting vs. Undertaker would have been an absolute classic in 1998. Today, it would disappoint as both men are well past their primes. Not that they can't both still go, but it won't ever be the dream match it would have been ten years ago.
Michaels is trash.

I qould love to see it but Stings career is complete either way and it would be kinda cool to be the biggest wrestler never to work for a Mcmahon.

I think being this generation's biggest star to not work for McMahon is a pretty cool part of Sting's legacy.

Sting does not want to work for Vince. Ever. This is pretty clear by this point. Not really. Considering he has said he was close to signing with them on several occasions but, just not wanting the schedule WWE has, that seems far from the truth. If he was given an Undertaker/HBK deal where he didn't have to work house shows if he didn't want too, he'd be in WWE by now.

Why should he appear in WWE for his career to be complete?
A bunch of guys didn't appear in WCW but I would still consider them legends and to have complete careers. I would rather Sting not show up on WWE programming at all, barring a well deserved HOF induction, and even then it wouldn't make me think he wasn't a legend or had an incomplete career if he didn't.
Maybe for his career to be complete to ten year old marks Sting should appear.

Sting in WWE... Eh, I have no interest in seeing it myself. Should he have gone to WWE back when? Absolutely, but by now I'm so tired of Sting I just want to see him call it a career.

I don't think he needs to appear in WWE for his career to be complete, but I also have never thought that him not doing so is a huge (and the way some people talk about it, the main) plaudit of his career. Besides which of course he has worked for Vince - Final Nitro, McMahon already owned WCW then Whatever Sting thinks is best, I'll go with that. I respect his choices. If he doesn't go to WWE, that's fine. If he gets a HoF spot and does, great. If he wants to work a match or two there, promo a DVD set, that's fine too.

Michaels would be good, but I think Sting vs Taker would be great for both of them. And it's not a matter of Sting going to WWE, because even though it would be great at Mania, it could happen in a TNA ring for all I care. I just want to see the ultimate battle of good vs evil at the tail end of both men's careers.

sting probably fought the undertaker in wcw back in 1990 when he was mean mark.
