Man, people who think clowns are creepy are weird. Ever see that film "Killer Clowns" or something like that? Evil clowns scare me to death.

I understood (and really enjoyed) the storyline in which Adam Bomb turned face. Unfortunately, there was no resolution to the feud (would it have killed them to have an 8th televised match at SummerSlam 94?). Add to that the fact that he was much less interesting as a face, and you have a huge waste of a wrestler who could have been a great Intercontinental Champion.

Man, people who think clowns are creepy are weird. Did you ever see IT? or Batman either the older version or The Dark Knight?

Bam Bam Bigelow after Wrestlemania 11. Shouldn't he have been MORE pissed off?

- Any time HHH is a face. Jesus, yes, THIS. I remember being one of a handful of people here that weren't attacking HHH back in 05, on things ranging between everything from his '02 return to the culmination of Evolution. Then John Cena came along and the smarks decided that they liked HHH and would cheer for him because 'he could wrestle' and Cena 'couldn't' (LOL), to the point of converting ordinary marks, leading the way to DX and all the other crap and ruining the WWE's best Heel and Face at the same time. Great work guys.

Austin didn't even do anything. He just showed up at the end of Raw the next night and took the belt back from Flair. It was just for some reason the crowd popped huge for him. Which confused me in so many different ways. 'BOO THE MAN WHO HELPED THE WWF OVERCOME THE ALLIANCE AND PUT THEM OUT OF BUSINESS! YAY! AUSTIN'S HERE! THE MAN WHO BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF EVERYONE FOR ALMOST HALF THE YEAR ALONG WITH ALMOST RUN THE WWF OUT OF BUSINESS!' To be fair, the entire time Austin was heel the crowd wanted to cheer for him most of the time. It was a simple fact of Austin still being popular with the fans and they didn't buy him as a heel much. The crowd cheered for Austin because they wanted to. I liked his heel run a lot but him being face made a lot more sense to me considering the crowd wanted him to be. To me, the ultimate example of this is Randy Ortons random face turn in 2004. Hes a dick for years, beats up helpless old guys. Acts like he is better than everyone else and has Evolution cheating for him to get the majority of his victories. Then he gets the same treatment he gave everyone else and suddenly we are supposed to like him and hes a great kid? Whole thing was really poorly done. If they had kept Orton as a tweener, lone wolf type and slowly transitioned him into a more face role while feuding with HHH and Evolution it would have made sense, but he immediately became a smiling, handshaking babyface. A complete reversal of his character. It made no sense, and was just awful. I never bought into any of HHHs face turns either. They never give a very good reason for it. A recent example: Matt Hardy basically trying to kill his brother, saying a bunch of terrible things about him, screwing him out of his title and making him miserable for half a year. Then he is gone a couple months, comes back and all is forgiven. Sure.

He was an evil, creepy clown. That's as natural a heel as you can get. I agree that Orton's face turn didn't make sense, as it was portrayed. But honestly, it was all just a way of taking the "youngest ever champion" badge away from Brock Lesnar, so I can see why the WWE were so desperate to do it. Lawler on commentary has been an appalling, senseless face turn. Man, people who think clowns are creepy are weird. Pennywise says hi... Undertakers, he has never been as awesome and intimidating after yanking that chair out of Jake Roberts hands. 17 years of boredom. Yeah, I never really got the reasoning for that either...

Volkoff becoming pro-America all of a sudden

Volkoff becoming pro-America all of a sudden Yeah what is up with that. Yes I know the Soviet Union was crumbling and the cold war was all but over, but still. A little more explanation to that. I guess the same with Nikita Koloff all of a sudden change of heart, though non kayfabe wise that was understandable with taking Magnam's spot. Though they tried to explain later, on the Supertowns on the Superstation special, Magnam said his accident caused Nikita to rethink his life. I guess that is plausable. But I will say this, I always symptise with Volkoff more than the typical evil Russians. He wanted to sing his national anthem, what is wrong with that? Jessie Ventura is dead on correct if our country is free, let the man sing. Volkoff came off more of a goof than an evil Russians. Ivan Koloff now that is a heel Russians you should be afraid of.

Biggest ones for me were Randy Orton and Umaga's breif face turns.

That's the chap I meant ;D Bam Bam turning face in 1995 was another good one. Though the face vs heel ratio at that time was a bit un balanced WWF needed another big face. However Bam Bam fresh looking to L.T then turning face wasn;t exactly the best way for him to look credible while taking on Sid and Tatanka and the rest of The Million Dollar Corporation.

Biggest ones for me were Randy Orton and Umaga's breif face turns. Orton's, I'm not gonna argue. We all know that sucked. But the crowd was way into Youmanga. He was getting massive face reactions until he got suspended. Then creative apparently forgot that he was face before he got suspended. Or he just got turned back heel as punishment.

Vince any time he turned face. It's a compliment to how much heat HHH could get as a heel, that he got Vince over as a face during thier feud in 99

Big a fan as I am of his, Piper's 86 face turn didn't make much sense, at least in terms of where it put him in respect of others, especially Hogan.

I seem to remember Orton getting face pops when beating Benoit for the title at Summerslam. If my memory isn't letting me down, perhaps that was part of it and Orton was just as much as forced turn as others.

Yeah i was at Summerslam 04 and the bizzaro crowd def popped for Ortons victory. And as far as Volkoff i think it was revealed it was from one of the Soviet satelite states and not Russia proper IIRC. So thats what forced the break up the Bolsheviks as Zukhoff was a true Commie.
