I know it's a cheesy title, but wrestling has had a couple of "invasion" angles. nWo and "the big let down" to list the major ones. What if there was a revolt. I'm no booker and have no imagination, but what if there was a revolt. Say the resurgence of wCw or a totally new alliance of some sort. Civil war erupts in the WWE. How would you book this?

I'd say the Dangerous Alliance storyline was kinda like this. So was the New Blood. And S.E.X., for that matter.

If there was a faction that were trying to take over RAW in an angle, Mr. Kennedy should be booked as its leader, hunting for the WWE Championship with Kane as his enforcer. Other members would include Edge going for/owning the intercontinental title, a heel Chris Benoit and Finley gunning for the tag titles and other members such as Gregory Helms and possibly Cryme Tyme but not as a comedy team, more as hired goons to interfere in matchs and attack faces backstage.
The success of the angle would see if the faction went over onto Smackdown and hired more members to capture the other titles. If the angle fails to draw heat, be it postive or negative, its back to the drawing board!

The only revolt I'd be interested in is ECW Originals vs The New Breed Unleashed, but, I doubt that happens since it'd mean giving Dreamer, Sandman, Sabu, RVD, Balls, CW, Al and Stevie TV time

I say ECW Originals (that are already on ECW roster) + Cruiserweights. A HARDCORE HIGH-FLYING REVOLUTION! Then eventually, ECW will become strictly for them, SmackDown will become for athletic pure wrestlers, and RAW will be the way it is.

Young fellas versus the Veterans... WCW tried that a few years back & all we got was Billy Kidman feuding with Hulk Hogan  & Worst of all Buff (& Judy) Bagwell in a boxing match with Hot Rod! |
