With Teddy constantly booking people against Taker, what would everyone think of him becoming Taker's manager once his run as GM is up?

An undead demon with a jive talking black man.
Just doesn't seem right.
It's like Armando and Umaga.

'Taker and Long is way different. Unless you change Teddy Long's character completely and rename him as the Black Parade or something.

Only if it sets up a heel turn (chokeslam Long).

Essentially, he DOES manage Taker... he sets up half of his matches, and they result in his ongoing feuds.

Didn't he already managed "Mean" Mark in WCW?

It's like Armando and Umaga. Y'know, Castro has a Samoan minion. Ha. Makes sense now, don't it?!?

Didn't he already managed "Mean" Mark in WCW? Yes, indeed he did... totally forgot about that. You know who else did, and IIRC was the man who brought him to the NWA (as it was at the time)? Heyman... interesting fact.

'Taker doesn't need a manager, and if he did it should only be Paul Bearer. Teddy using 'Taker as a punishment for errant Smackdown wrestlers is good for what it is. It's now a cliche, but a funny one, and a great deterent (kayfabe-wise) to keep the heels from stepping too far over the line with Teddy.

Undertaker needs a heel turn before he retires though, i just prefer heel Undertaker. Turning on Teddy Long would be a good way to do it, but with Teddy in his GM role, not sure it'd work with Teddy as Undertaker's manager.
On saying this though, we all know Kane will turn on Undertaker for yet another Kane/'Taker fued.

For some reason, I'm envisioning Paul Bearer talking like Teddy Long.
"Oooooooohhhhh, yessssss, playa!"
Make it stop.

Teddy Long using Undertakers 'Dark Arts' to maybe try & resurrect 'The Godfather of Soul' James Brown (R.I.P.) ...Poor taste, too soon! (Right up WWE's alley!) Brown's passing reminds me of Ernest Miller's killer entrance theme in WCW to which Brown performed once! 'The Cat' didn't last too long in WWE... I think he entered 'The Royal Rumble' then disappeared off the face of the Earth!
