Why was the gun angle inducted here on wrestlecrap?,The gun incident helped the WWF get edgier and was arguably the start of the attitude era, and helped Pillman and Austin get over in the WWF.

Great question....Either that or the boilerroom match (which in itself could be crap) between Mankind and Undertaker.
I would not have included the gun situation...Hell the glass breaking on the window became synonymous with Steve Austin.

I think maybe the suspension of disbelief was just stretched too far. I mean as if anyone was actually going to get shot on a wrestling tv show.

As a kid I thought it was pretty shocking.
Although, it made me take Pillman's side when he returned to take out the now popular Austin. After all, can you blame a guy wanting revenge on the guy who snapped his ankle and terrorized his family?
