So Fight Club came out on Blu Ray this week, and its the film's 10th anniversary. Whats everyone's feelings on this movie 10 years later?
Most people I know love this movie, but a few hate it passionately. It's one of the most polarizing films I know of when it comes to how people feel about it.
So what do you guys think? Has this movie aged well? Was it ahead of its time? Before its time?
Explain your feelings on the movie, love it, or hate it.

I absolutely love the Blu Ray edition, simply because of the opening menu.

The first time i watched it was for a film class in college because our professor/teacher loved it. It didn't bowl me over. It was alright and watchable but I wasn't blown away by its awesomeness. {Spoiler}And the whole thing at the end with killing Tyler by putting the gun in his mouth and pulling the trigger and blowing up the office building took me out of everything else previously. I usually like "guy" movies but I don't think that the hype for this one was warranted. But that's just my lone opinion.

It's decent enough but I never found it to be the epic film that people had built it up to be. Enjoyable though and it features a Pixies song which is always a plus.

Good film, not the epic fantabulous masterpiece most people make it out to be imo.

It's one of my favorite films of all time, although I can totally understand why people didn't like it and some of the people who are fans like it for the wrong reasons.

It's a pretty good movie. I have it high on my list of all time favourites. But it's not necessarily a timeless epic masterpiece like 2001 or Citizen Kane. But I would definitely call it a modern classic!

I really liked the first half but then it started to get too ridiculous.

It's a movie that has aged remarkably well and I personally think it's the greatest movie ever made. It's also my favorite movie ever.

But I would definitely call it a modern classic! Interestingly enough, both of those movies also received Fight Club-type reactions when initiially released, if not more severe. Citizen Kane got BOOED at the Academy Awards and flopped at the box office and most people had no idea what to make of 2001.

Beginning and end are great, but the middle kinda drags. I must have not noticed it/not paid attention the first few times, but a few years ago I rewatched it, and the middle half hour or so seemed to plod a lot.

It was the first R-rated movie I saw in the theater; I was 15. I thought it was awesome then. The movie is very good - it helps to have three fantastic actors as the lead (Norton, Bonham-Carter, Pitt). I think it stands the test of time as a dystopic near-future film that only lacks the cell phone/internet/instant communication issues that many dystopia/accidental sci-fi writers don't bother with. A good adaptation as well.

Its funny 10 years later watching talk about how the current generation has no wars, no great depression, and the philosophy that a society of overwrought commercialization has led to an era of men emasculated feeling numb and without real feeling.
I wonder what Tyler Durden would think of the world of 2009.
