i'm wonderin where is dunder mifflin goin bankrupt gonna lead to for the show? I think it would be interesting if a larger company bought out Dunder Mifflin and kept the branches (at least Scranton anyway) and seeing the effects that working under a large corporation would be for the staff, especially Michael. If they were really fearless about it, conceivably they could even be willing to change up the cast slightly.

I think it will be like the British Office, where the Michael Scott character will end up being fired.

I don't know where it's heading, but I do know that was one of my favorite episodes of the season. The Recyclops bit at the beginning was hilarious, especially the attention to detail in regards to the secretary for each year.

I did watch the Office and here a few thoughts:
1) Tone it the heck down! The best part about the Office was that it was funny in a way that people could relate too. It shed a humorous light on the drab setting of a "boring" paper company. Now its just full of caricatures instead of characters and the episodes revolve around silly gags and bits - which are fine sometimes, but should dominate the episode.
2) I'd like to see Michael promoted out of Scranton due to his take charge attitude at the shareholder's meeting and we see how Jim runs the branch solo.
3) Pam's a B. and I don't mean Beesley. But I guess she's preggers so she's supposed to act that way.
4) Jim putting Ryan in his place was the best part of the episode. I like it when they deal with real office happenings in a slightly - slightly - exaggerated manner.

Yeah, it's almost about time for a shakeup event. I see layoffs, where we follow the furloughed around, only to get rehired by the end of the season.

If they were really fearless about it, conceivably they could even be willing to change up the cast slightly. Thing is about THE OFFICE, a lot of the secondary characters are also writers and staff members on the show. Ryan and Kelly definitely, I think Angela and Phyllis might be too, also got the impression Creed is too. So their characters in theory could go away and they'd still be working with the show. I've kinda been expecting it for a while now.
