You know, it is rare that something is as good as it was hyped up to be............but that did the job well.

Wow...I was NOT expecting an appearance from the ORIGINAL comic. Amazing.
A fun bit of nostalgia.

And starting next week, you can see the movie again as 3 episodes mini series. And that was the prefect way to end, the 2k3 Run of TMNT.

Too many references to notice! They even included Bebop, Rocksteady, and one of the other mutant's human forms when they arrived in the '87 Turtles universe.
I've always said that the one thing that kills the 03 version of the show for me is Shredder not really being Oroku Saki, but this was still enjoyable as hell.

It was... alright.
I didn't much care for how the old cartoon was the butt of many of the jokes (though I did love the fourth wall stuff causing confusion amongst the characters of the new cartoon), andI wish they had done something with the fact that Splinter's origin was different in both cartoons; it'd have been interesting to have the two meet and learn that one was the pet rat and the other was Hamato Yoshi himself. It'd have also been neat to see the old cartoon's Casey Jones make an appearance, particularly as a contrast to the new one. The old cartoon's Leonardo's voice was also a little grating, though the others were spot on.
Still... it was cool to see all of the cameos, and overall I enjoyed it. I'll pick it up when/if they release it on DVD.

The only turtle I know Dean Venture's Va voice is 2K3 series Leo.

I didn't format that as well as I meant to.
I realize Sinterniklaas only played Leo, but all of them sounded alike to me.

Some interesting information about the movie, there was some scenes that were cut out from the tv airing, which inculdes 1980s Splinter giving the modern TMNT a lecture and demanding they respect the 1980s era of the series and more scenes with Karai, Krang and 1980s Shredder.

We don't know if there even going to be a dvd yet, since Viacom gots the rights of eveything TMNT now, expect for the 87 show. Somebody probably going to upload it on youtube in a couple of hours or so. And the next 3 Saturdays, they are going to reair the movie as an 3 part mini series at 10:30 am est, 9:30 am central.

Honestly they'd be crazy not to release this by Christmas. Possibly the first Tuesday after the 3-week airing

I enjoyed the movie immensely, though i did feel they made the classic turtles a bit too silly.

That was a lot of fun. Nickelodeon is supposed to have their own CGI animated Turtles series. I guess it'll be on Nicktoons and I won't see it. I was glad that the exploding ninja stars proved more effective than the 2003 Turtles thought.

It was great. I liked the sweet battle scene at the beginning with the hundreds of foot soldiers. I also liked the whole "we have figured out how to use their technology in a way that doesn't suck" scene, especially with the mutagen.
