So... did they re-add the ability to use GBA games in this, or is that still out? It is just a giant DSi, man. So no GBA.

Is this the first time a new Nintendo model has actually gotten bigger? From the start with the NES, the second or third iteration of a system has always been smaller.
Personally, I love a bigger system. I want something that I have to hold on to and not worry about dropping or fumbling around the buttons.

I read about this last night on wiki and was going to post, but I don't follow games too close and figured you would post it, Koda.
It does look cool, although honestly... a new DS every year is a bit much. I mean, it works for Apple, I guess, but I still wonder.

Yeah, but Nintendo actually seems to listen to the fans when the fans want something, so I would have hoped they would have listened to the fans who were pleading for the GBA slot to return.

did nintendo just look at sega and say that was a brilliant business plan we'll give it ten years or so and copy it? this is the 4th version of the ds ( not counting the multiple colours/limited edition's. ) do they really need more? there are 4 versions of the psp out too. and lord knows how many versions of the xbox 360 and ps3 just as a random test for my memory, (uk machines.) 360: core, arcade, 20 gb premium, 60gb premium, 120 gb elite, 250 gb super elite (limited editions.) ps3: 60gb, 40 gb, 80gb, 120gb, 250 gb psp base, psp slim & lite, psp 3000, psp go and thats without the colour variations and limited editions. sadly i have sold them all, and had to know the difference between them all.

Since there is no GBA compatibility, I'll be passing on it like I passed on the regular DSi.

I'm just going to stick to my Game Boy Advance, thank you. Same here, considering I hardly play it. I do have Final Fantasy I & II and Final Fight One for it, though.

I own Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros 3, Pokemon Sapphire and FireRed, and Tiger Woods Pro Tour. I plan on getting a few more titles for Christmas, and to do so, I probably will just offload my excess DS titles (I love the system, but the maintenance costs are way too much for me) and aim for my favorite RPG on the GBA: Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, and maybe a copy of Emerald. No. It's a plain ol' GBA. Clear-skinned. It may have a tiny scratch on the NE part of the screen, but it works like a charm with all the buttons moving like clockwork.
