Forget about everybody else...let's get down to the main two. Who's the greatest 1980's Vietnam vet action movie hero? My money (and vote) is on Troma's Frankie Dunlan.

Rambo. He be the man.
At least, when it came between him and Conan as a kid, I preferred to watch Rambo.
Sorry, Arnold.

I'm shocked at your lack of ability to A) read, or B) know what to do when someone posts a video in which a Youtube uploader has disabled embedding. I watched Tales from the Crapper, and sir... Combat Shock is NO Tales From the Crapper.
Now, if Combat Shock had the elusive BONER VISION, we might be onto something!

"I'm coming back, I'm getting naked, and I'm gonna f*** shit up!!!" BTW, do you think these are the first two Tales From The Crapper references in the history of the forum? BTW, one of the guys who edited that movie sent me an email saying he was a (Wrestle)Crapper.

This isn't a choice. Not a fair fight, I mean who remembers Dunlan or even cares? Why should we?
Rambo though...see? Everyone knows that name. IT means war, it means not getting over five wars ago, it means cruel military intense training forgotten in favor of big muscles and big funs. I means kick butt. Vietnamese, Soviets, whatever.

Just trying to see if there's any independent thinkers out there, or if everybody on the forum always opens up and swallows up whenever big budget Hollywood and media conglomerates wanna shoot their load. That and I'm banning everybody who voted for Rambo when I wake up in the morning after this wonderful latenight binge I'm on. Nice knowing you!!!

Yes lets go indie instead. Especially that "indie" backed by same said corporate entities. Now if you mean Troma, a true independent film company, we can then talk. I'm coming ta get ya! ;D

Yes lets go indie instead. Especially that "indie" backed by same said corporate entities. Now if you mean Troma, a true independent film company, we can then talk. Of course I do. That's all this thread is...an excuse to make a Troma-based thread in a sea of threads I really have nothing in common with on my forum. Do I really think Frankie Dunlan from Troma's Combat Shock will win this poll? You'll never find a bigger supporter/fan of Troma than myself. To this day, I still couldn't tell you what was a greater thrill...having a #1 best selling wrestling book or appearing on a Troma Toxic Avenger dvd. Both childhood dreams of mine. Throughout my entire life, there's been four constants... Wrestling Bitches Troma Drugs/Alcohol Guess which one has never let me down? Thanks, Troma!!!

I admire Troma in that those guys just do their thing, regardless of taste and censorship and PC offenses.
Yet at the same time, in spite of their remarkable independence, they're stuck in a predictable formula that caters to their small but dedicated hardcore cult. I can't blame them, they gotta pay the bills and they're always under the gun of red. I just wish they would capitalize and use that DVD/distribution/fanbase community to fly their freedom flag to the artistic fullest.
Poultrygeist was another entry in that formula, but hey a musical. That's something different and ridiculously stand out within that filmography.

I always like this guy: Dafoe as Elias from Platoon. Granted he got betrayed and shot the s*** out of, and wasn't the asskicker either of the other two was, but eh you've already exposed your thinly veiled ruse to disguise a Troma thread within a poll; so I think introducing a Platoon character ain't totally outta line here. Edit: Plus I voted Frankie for the hell of it.

And put some money into Lloyd's pockets for the new Toxic Avenger movie. Because we need potty jokes and limbs getting ripped off in HD.
