Last week I bought some vanilla ice cream to make brownie ice cream sandwiches. They were of course fantastic, but when the brownies were gone I had some vanilla ice cream left over. I can't remember the last time I had just plain vanilla ice cream with no toppings or anything. I forgot how tasty plain ol' vanilla can be.

About the only time I eat plain, vanilla ice cream is when I get a cone at McDonald's. If I buy it on it's own, I have to get chocolate syrup or something to go on it.
