*Poll Legend* NSMBW=New Super Mario Bros. Wii SMW=Super Mario World SMB3=Super Mario Bros. 3
I know it may be too early to tell, so just go on your best instinct. I know I left lots of Marios off this list, but I figured Mario 3 and Mario World would've blown away the rest anyhow.

NSMBW > SMB3 > SMW
I dunno why, I guess it has partly to do with the fact that NSMBW is the only one of the three I played when it was brand new. I haven't played the others until years after their release.

I haven't played it yet but I really don't expect it to be better than SMB3. Nintendo has had 20 years to top that game and they still haven't done it yet. I don't see them starting now.
It could be better than Super Mario World though, since SMW was never that great to begin with.

After playing it with 4 people at the same time, the games don't compare.... at least on the Multiplayer aspect.
Haven't played it alone yet, but Multiplayer is awesome insanity.

I love the Ice Flower and some of the things I've found I could do with it!

I stopped by a friend's place and played through the first world on it (I guess it was a world, we beat the first Koopa kid). I really like that it holds to a lot of the basics of a real Mario game, while adding a lot of new stuff (keep in mind, I haven't played a true Mario game since Mario World for the SNES; Kart doesn't count). The only thing I really had a problem with was the size of things on the screen. Everything is so small, it's hard to figure out what's what.

Multiplayer mode causes the screen to pan backwards.

I've yet to get the {Spoiler}penguin suit, not sure when it first shows up. Apparently not in world 1 and the first half of desert land. Apparently some big coins will have to be gotten later when other powerups are available, like th one listed above. It was awesome that {Spoiler}Yoshi can grab then throw hammers and fireballs! That was I think an accidental find but quite cool, imo. My only problem, is that so far, I cannot {Spoiler}seem to get to keep Yoshi from from level to level as in Super Mario World. Maybe later into the game perhaps? Overall, very happy with this game. even if some placements of the giant coins are almost impossible or death defying to get. I'm looking at two in one level early in World 2, I think the first one after the mini-castle. Damn, one coin is tough, the other is like crazy. I know what I need to do, but my timing or my method to begin the maneuver is wrong.

One complaint the game has been getting is that your third spoiler hardly ever shows up.
...personally that's fine with me. Not a fan of that.

I get the impression that {Spoiler}Yoshi in this is sort of like that boot you could ride in back in SMB3; level-specific

Pretty much Madison. Which I am ok with because NEEDING to use it is an annoyance but there ARE some times I like it for variety.

OMG I'm laughing hard right now. I thought he said SMW2, as in Yoshi's Island... which I hate hate hate hate compared to the three. I might bust it out because I think I own it, but it was a disappointement for being a SMW sequel.
