First show I went to was in 1996 (I was 16) with Garbage opening for the Smashing Pumpkins. Lollapalooza 1997, my favorites being Porno for Pyros, Beck, Damien & Julian Marley, Prodigy, Devo, Snoop Dogg and Tool Snot/Incubus/Soulfly (played in that order) in either 1998 or 1999 - I can't remember which And then it was a long time before I went to another concert; I did the "rave" thing for a while, but that hardly counts, and I went to some of the WCW and WWF shows that came around, but not a lot of concerts until fairly recently when I saw Mindless Self Indulgence in June of '08, and then again in October of '08. Been to lots of bars that had live music playing, but I'd hardly count that since I don't even remember the names of most of the bands.

I've only been to a handful of concerts, due to not many bands passing through here, let alone ones I actually listen to.
Cradle of Filth, Arch Enemy, Bleeding Through and Himsa - Kinda a downer due to the concert taking place a day or two after Dimebag Darrel's shooting. Everyone was awesome (and it was my first exposure to Himsa) but I kinda skipped Arch Enemy's set and ended up talking to Bleeding Through's keyboardist (who is gorgeous) a little bit at the merch table.
Coheed and Cambria, Dillinger Escape Plan, Chiodos and 3 - I really only went to see DEP and their show was pretty lacking due to one of the guitarist bailing out of a few dates (which almost never happens). Plus I don't think the singer was too keen on playing to predominantly teenage girls so he was kinda pissed. Started off the set with a sweet flip into the crowd and ended it by climbing onto a shaky stack of amps, which sent security scrambling to hold them in place so he didn't break his neck. 3 was quite talented, Chiodos sucked hard and though Coheed put on a good show, I just stood near the back and laughed at the people who treated it like some sort of religious experience. In a bit of trivia, soon after this set of shows, the drummer for DEP ended up leaving them for Coheed.
Mustard Plug - Ska isn't really my type of music but I like it, plus this is pretty much my best friend's favorite band and it was something to do. A pretty good show despite it being in a bar in front of maybe 50 people tops.

Iron Maiden (three times) Iggy and The Stooges KISS Indica (Finnish band I'm a huge fan of, they opened for Nightwish during NW's latest tour, but this one was before all that) Mastodon (opened for Iron Maiden) Avenged Sevenfold ("special guest" for Iron Maiden, let's just say I'm not a fan of these guys) Lauren Harris (opened for Iron Maiden) Poisonblack (opened for Iron Maiden) Cinder Road (opened for KISS and weren't very good) The Stalingrad Cowgirls (opened for Iggy and The Stooges)
Yeah, I'm not much of a concert-goer.

I've only ever been to one, went and seen AC/DC last Novemeber in Toronto. Awesome concert. Sure we had our car towed while we were in the Skydome, but that concert was so good that it made up for it all.
