- Super Lyger
New Japan puts Chris Jericho under a mask and make him some sort of Evil Lyger. It lasted one match and was possibly the worst received character ever. Angle includes lots of Japanese fans' apathy, and Chris Jericho looking the dumbest he ever has.

- Troy Enders as The Great Muta
New Japan fails to make a deal with Keiji Mutoh that would have seen him work NJPW shows allied with the Makai Club heel stable, and resorts to making an American nobody the second generation of the legendary Great Muta gimmick...he looked and wrestled nothing like Mutoh. The costume neither. Angle includes lots of hype, The Great Kabuki growing a second American son out of thin air and endorsing him and...(See next entry)
- Chyna In Japan

- Joanie proceeding to nutshot and spank New Japan's dorky announcer,
- Making entrances looking like the world's biggest peacock,
- Tagging with Enders and beat Hiroshi Tanahashi & Kenzo Suzuki, the best prospects for the company at the time. And only losing by countout after Enders messed up his knee for no apparent reason.
- Wrestling Masahiro Chono in a match that not even Chono (CHONO!) could save.
But really...this is only the surface of it. Enders & Chyna in New Japan, if something from Japan ever gets on the site, this should be it.
