ESPN reporting Urban Meyer interested in the ND job. Start packing Weis. We might have a real winner for once!

That's sad. I always loved Georgia's mascot, even if I wasn't a big fan of theirs. Hopefully, they can rally around this.

After today's comments I wouldn't expect Mangino to be at Kansas much longer

Well, humiliation day is nearly upon us and, I can only hope following the THE[/u] Game, we are either in a bowl or RichRod is in the unemployment line.

After today's comments I wouldn't expect Mangino to be at Kansas much longer What happened? Some quotes he had said Are you going to be a lawyer or do you want to become an alcoholic like your dad?' (said in front of whole team) 'Shut up!' He said, 'If you don't shut up, I'm going to send you back to St. Louis so you can get shot with your homies.' (said to player whose brother had been shot in the arm) "He told me he'd send me back to Oakland where I could be drinking out of a brown paper bag," Mortensen said. "He told me, 'You were a s---- friend to someone I knew that passed away.' He called me a bum. He showed me no respect. He told me he'd send me back to the ghetto. The coach is blaming the Kids and the Parents for the problems and said last night "I can't do the work of the parents of what they should have done before the kids came to me" The school is looking into the problem. Rumors is that he is gone at the end of the year

If he had a much BIGGER winning percentage this year, this wouldn't be an issue at all.
But yeah since he isn't, he's done.

If they had been winning this would not be a problem they started the year 5-0 and have lost 5 straight

Mark Mangino is on a recruiting trip in Kansas City and he gets lost.
He stops at a gas station to ask for directions, and asks the clerk "Can you tell me how to get to 435?"
Clerk looks at him and says "A little diet and exercise should do the trick"

ESPN reporting Urban Meyer interested in the ND job. I was afraid this would happen. What's with the sig? There is literally a 0.0000000001% chance Ferentz leaves Iowa for Notre Dame. Kirk Ferentz credits a man by the name of Joe Moore with being his number one influence in coaching. Go look up "Joe Moore Notre Dame" and you'll find out why Kirk would never coach there.

Notre Dame took their shot at Urban Meyer, and he chose Florida instead. Notre Dame wouldn't loosen up some of their recruiting rules, has that changed?
There are only a handful of schools where, once up and running at full speed, there are no better positions out there. Florida is one of those schools. Anything but the NFL is a lateral move at best.
I guess if it's his dream job, and they're now willing to meet his demands on the recruiting, maybe there's a shot. I really doubt it though.

Two years, multiple rule violation accusations, and overall crap attitude is more than enough for me to want him gone.

I'm hoping that Indiana wins the Old Oaken Bucket today against Purdue. The game will be decided on turnovers.

Michigan fumble it into the end zone, Ohio State recovers it for the touchdown.
