People keep saying Disney have underused the Muppets.
Stuff like this has shot them right into the public eye and it's why they have the new film coming out next Summer.
Having said that...*ahem*...THIS IS AWESOME! *clap clap clapclap clap*

Awesome.
I'm hoping their new movie, which as of now is written by Jason Segel and is called "The Cheapest Muppet Movie Ever Made", is as good as I'm expecting.

If the opening of the movie alone is as amazing as it is (I'm not going to spoil it since 1. it's only the script and 2. if it turns out that way, it'll not be worthwhile to write it), then it'll be one hell of a comeback for the Muppets.

Good, bad? Haven't read much up on it, just that Disney's involved, it's supposed to be out by the summer, and Segel wrote it. I heard some other news, but that may or may not have changed.

Having said that...*ahem*...THIS IS AWESOME! *clap clap clapclap clap* Well they were. Let me put it this way. Its like Elvis in the mid 60s. Yes still a major "star" who sold records and made hit movies. But more coasting on his brand name than actually earning it. But yeah, that video was great. I had a good laugh. Maybe the movie will be their great comeback like the comeback special was for Elvis?

I agree with that and I put that down more to the old Eisner administration of 'Hey, let's get these guys because we can' logic then now where, well, they have a movie coming up and are being seen with their biggest tween stars AND had a giant number at Disney's D23 convention earlier in the summer. But viral stuff like that did more for the Muppets in the last few years then most things, even Muppets In Space.

Oddly that's how most of the mods video conferences turn out as well So who's the Mercury in those conferences? I have a sneaking suspicion its Blade.
